Terry, I also think a lot of it will be what happens with the airlines...….flying to Europe/from Europe is definitely

going to be a challenge. And you are right, SS demographics is definitely in the "60 and above range"

Love the above "drive-in" action visual from Spins for a car visiting you in your home living room. Was it a man or a woman driving this car?

Below are a couple items from two American comedy classics.

THANKS!  Enjoy!  Terry in Ohio

There were two people driving the car Terry.

They couldn't decide which way to turn...

Super smart, quick and savvy response from Spins as to my question as to whether a woman or man had been driving that car crashing into the home's living room.  She wisely dodged my question as to whether it was a female or male driver.  Blame it on BOTH!!  That seems fair??!!

Below is a comedy item to prove that I am also a fan of 21st Century funny folks.  It's Chris Rock!!  A hip and fun guy.  He can get a little "blue" at times, but I did not use any of that type of material.

THANKS!  Enjoy!  Terry in Ohio

I still have this, most definitely. However, the refund from the cancelled flights was posted on my AMEX today, which was amazingly fast! I just canceled on Wednesday afternoon. That will definitely give my spirits a boost.

Chris and I went into work for a few hours this morning. She had to do a hands-on procedure that couldn't be delayed and couldn't be done remotely, so I tagged along and did a few hours of work in my office, for a change of pace. It's good to get let out of the home office now and then!

Now home in time for lunch, though we're both back at it afterwards.

Wiemer (our favorite Finger Lakes winery) is doing a virtual happy hour this afternoon after work, so we are looking forward to that! Just got a case of wine from them delivered on Wednesday.

Looking forward to the weekend - hope everyone is doing well. Lois, are things settling down? Fingers crossed for you, that all is well.

Hi JP, thank you for asking.  Slowly...my feet seem to be better in the mornings and then by end of day are swollen:classic_sad:

Still taking the Lasix.  Hoping they will get better all day soon.

I did get more test results back and now need to take a med for my Thyroid too. My counter looks like a freaking pharmacy:classic_blink::classic_wacko:

I have several Dr's appts AGAIN next week------not sure how long it will take for my body to get what will be

"MY NORMAL"...………...

Got our SS refund for the cruise we'd be on now, Dublin to Amsterdam.  I think it took about 2 1/2 months.  Seeing the credit on Amex was reassuring.  Murder hornets add insult to injury at this time, but the above 2 posts made me laugh out loud.

I got my refund from Delta for the cancelled China flights. It posted on my AMEX today. I was amazed.

Good news that J.P. and QueSeraSera have received back their refunds. It's always good, in my opinion, to have the "CASH" in OUR bank versus just holding a piece-of-paper promise for some sort of "credit" on a future, maybe, booking.

Sorry about the continued medical challenges for Lois.  Keep us posted on your progress.

Below are a couple more from "lovable loser", Rodney Dangerfield.  More to come from him and other comedy stars.  We still need laughs and distractions.

THANKS!  Enjoy!  Terry in Ohio

I think that they could have used some blueberries.1604908086_Screenshot_20200515-1258092.thumb.png.2f01e2964cfe17acb4c22f08e9d155dd.png

I pick up a few groceries for an older friend who can't go out because of her lungs.  She loves blueberries.  I sent her this photo and asked if she wanted some.

Her son does a lot of her shopping but occasionally misses the boat:  he brought home cream cheese icing (Betty Crocker I think) in a can rather than Philadelphia cream cheese blocks the other day.
