Transpacific, royal suite

You will not get "go best" as you normally would with a suite, so no OBC or gratuities. You would get the normal Royal suite perks of premium bev package, specialty dining and bar setup.

I don’t think beverage package. We cancelled

Regardless of where a cruise is going an RS ( and PS) gets premium beverage, unlimited Internet and unlimited speciality along with bar set up and daily restocked fridge. These are for every one in the Suite so if there are 4 of you all four get Internet etc. These are part of the Suite and not an add on given as part of promotion to encourage booking.

In the UK we don't get the better, best promos you get in the US and when perks are offered the price has usually risen to account for them

Yes it is!

I canceled after I spoke to Celebrity. I wanted a one price for the trip. They said no premium packages for suites on transatlantic. Maybe I spoke to the wrong Celebrity representative? I’d love to see the policy in writing. I’d gladly go!!!

This is from the UK web site and the same as appears in the current printed brochure. I also checked cruising power and the same is shown

The reps can get a little confused at times re the drinks packages ‘included’ as part of the suite compared to drinks packages as a ‘promotion’ frequently offered to suite guests but rarely on a TA or a TP. So on a TP or a TA unless you are in a PH or RS you will not usually have a drinks package, hence the reason why Michael’s is often busier on these cruises.

We have only sailed 7 times so far with The Edge coming up in January. That cruise will be our 1st time in a suite. (Sky S3). 2 of our cruises were Trans atlantics. One on X & the other on NCL. NCL gave us perks. X did not. As far as I'm concerned. if X doesn't offer perks on TAs In the future we will look to Princess. We sailed them once and found it very close to X.

You definitely spoke to the wrong person. Those items attach to the suite. They have nothing to do with TAs, Go Best, etc.

You are definitely due a beverage package if you were booking a royal suite on a TA, I have to say I'm shocked that Celebrity just let an expensive booking like this go due to bad information on the part of reps. It sounds like you want to go, but want a bev. pkg included, definitely call them back. :)
