beaming90 Posted January 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2019 I was driving into work this morning and heard Sail Away by the Commodores. That got me thinking that maybe I should start a cruise playlist for when I cruise Alaska this August. I like all kinds of music - Country, Contemporary Christian, Classic Rock, Hair Bands, etc. so tell me what is one or two songs you always want on your cruise playlist. "Ulili E" by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole (or almost anything else Iz does). Want that "other" ocean? "Groovemaster" by Arrow (or anything from his Knock Dem Dead album) 1

SRF Posted January 17, 2019 #10 Share Posted January 17, 2019 Like there is absolutely NO MUSIC played anywhere on the ship. 😄 But YES, use your headphones or earbuds.

Agreed! My playlist is actually for pre-cruise -- e.g., playing in the car in the days leading up to departure. Gets us even more excited for the trip. I've never listened to my own music during sailaway.

This will more likely be played before and while flying...I don't think I have ever gotten out my Ipod on one of my cruises yet but did listen to it during the flight. And to get ready to go!! For those of you that answered thanks! For the rest... Too bad I am at work, it's 5:00 somewhere!! And GO CHIEFS!!!!!

But I do have a Sony HiFi Beta VCR that I used as a reel to reel for audio storage. Still have the four hour tapes but, of course, the Beta player is "on the fritz."
