RuthC Posted February 12, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2019 When was the inspection? The Amsterdam is in the Pacific Ocean, on her World cruise. She left a few weeks ago.
OlsSalt Posted February 12, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 12, 2019 CDC scores for all HAL ships - be sure to read some of the reports to see the detail they look at and how easy it is to get a few points knocked off: https://wwwn.cdc.gov/InspectionQueryTool/InspectionResults.aspx
AtlantaCruiser72 Posted February 12, 2019 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2019 Looks like it was done august 8th last year while sailing the Alaskan runs. An interesting read - she still gets a 100 with 33 corrective action items on the report. Makes you wonder just how bad things have to get to fail! Congrats to the crew for the perfect score!

Strange that the CDC doesn't report the scores for 7 months!

Choose the "Ship Scored 100" option and it says "The Ship Score of 100 report shows data on a rolling 12-month basis. " but the most recent shown is 12/10/18 Edited February 12, 2019 by catl331

I was just wondering if it's current info, and based on your post, it is.

However, there was no port on December 10th. Maybe the inspectors boarded the ship on December 8th in American Samoa and stayed on until Honolulu on Dec. 14th? Is that possible? BTW, I completely concur with the 100%. I thought that the ship was very well maintained.

The last date shown, 12/10/18, is for the NCL Gem, and the last Amsterdam inspection was 8/9/18 Edited February 15, 2019 by catl331

But I wonder why you didn't clarify your earlier post re the December 10, 2018, score since it was obvious that others also assumed you were referring to the Amsterdam. However, you did answer my question re an inspection at sea since the inspection did not take place during our trip.

DaveOKC Posted February 16, 2019 #17 Share Posted February 16, 2019 Since we were just on her for 2 weeks in Jan, this does not surprise me at all! Great ship with a great crew - our best HAL cruise (of 25 plus).
