Celebrity Tier question

We are SELECT it also shows PEARL. When we were on the Reflection, no one knew that PEAR meant. Can someone explain it. I see MGM having something to do with it. Not sure.

it is your level in their casino program....pearl is the lowest level

You get Pearl status if you gamble at least $1.00.    Iain got it by betting a free slot pull and upon winning bet the $1 he won.  I lost my fee pull and don’t even have Pearl.

Go to the casino section of the celebrity website FAQ for all the gambling levels.  Pearl is the lowest

If you have status with Captain's Club you can get matching levels on the Blue Chip Club by calling them and giving proof of your status.

Explain please.....what blue chip level corresponds to what Captains club level?

Just did some checking with the Blue Chips FAQ section. Captains Club does not have anything to do with it at this time. maybe in the future. $2,500 at the slots give you a little. More required at the tables and at the poker machine.

Check out Chicago Paul's current Live Blog.    He has instructions of getting the tier level (Celebrity Site is of course out of date).   You can then use that status to get Hyatt matching of the BlueChip level.

I believe you get Ruby status for Elite Plus (maybe Elite) or above.   You have to call to have the status applied.    Read @chicagopaul current blog for instructions and how to take that status to get Hyatt status.   That is my only source of this information.

Anything for select? Just emaild them to see what is current. They never said anything about your tier being combined to the Blue chips when on our last cruise.

Blue Chip Ruby status?  That’s their top level —- 1,000,000 points?  For Elite Plus?  That doesn’t make sense to me.

Elite Plus and Zenith get Platinum Status on M life.

So captains club can get you M life status, and M life can get you Hyatt, so where does Blue Chip fit in?

 Blue Chip status has nothing to do with Captains Club tier level. You can be Zenith and have zero status in Blue Chip. However, certain Captains Club status gets you MGM MLife tier status. And certain MLife tiers (not obtained from Captains Club status) gets you benefits from Blue Chip (but not tier status). 

 

Confusing, right? Bottomline is you get nothing from Blue Chip unless you actually gamble on the ship or gamble at an MGM property and earn a status.
