It started off very nice. Early coffee in SL, sunrise over the islands, breakfast in CK.

Quick question regarding your OV balcony. I thought the closets on Harmony were located on each side of the sofa.....that's where they were located last time we sailed on Harmony. Please let me know where your closet is located. Thank you and have a wonderful cruise!

Finished breakfast and headed back to room to change. Our plan was to spend a few hours at the pool, then lunch at Snack Shack. Great plan, huh.

We got halfway down the pier, got our picture taken, and headed back to ship.

 

 

That was a good plan

 

 

Poured off and on for next two hours. Cruise Director became our weather man. He's no James Van Fleet.  Hung out in the SL

Yes, big one by bath, and the narrow one with shelves is by the bed

Thank you.....I must say I'm a little disappointed because I really, really liked the closets on either side of the sofa so that we weren't crowded in the narrow hall next to bath.

We'll check ours out next month!:)

Weather finally cleared and we headed back to Snack Shack. Decided to forego pool. Probably the wrong idea. 

 

Snack shack was good, but the walk was brutal. Lots of sand on the pavers due to the rain. Lots of the beach had gulleys as well. Saw at least two folks fall on their buts. It was also 100% humidity. Jumping in pool would have been nice.

 

We split a Cheeseburger,  fries, and funnel cake.

Forgot to take pics, but this is from 3 weeks ago

We also had a big rooster hang out with us.

You misunderstand,  they are on either side of the bed, but they have two designs. I'll try and get a picture

Laura had a 3pm hair appointment,  so I went exploring. 

 

One fun thing to do in Schooner is to watch people walk through and not realize you cant keep going forward. They then walk back the way they came.

 

Not so on this ship. There is an exit. 😉

 

 

This door leads to the stage above Kate Spade.

 

 

 

These stairs do not say no passenger acess.

 

 

Usually they are just used for photo ops, but you can take them all the way to the Schooner exit.

Quick break to discuss the in cabin fridge.

 

These are not Thermoelectric coolers. It is a compressor driven refrigeration unit. 

 

 

Ours has a nice ice build up and is freaking cold

We have/had reservations for Saturday at 10:30 😱

I asked if I could swap, he said sure, name your date. Unfortunately I'm flying solo tonight. Laura is in a food coma. Let me explain.

Tonight's dinner in CK is marginal at best, so we ran into Chef Henry at breakfast and asked if he could do us a chicken stir fry for dinner. Lots of veg and ginger. No problem

 

Arrived at CK a little early and told our server we had a special order. Ordered the lobster salad and shrimp cocktail as an app.

 

Slightly different presentation than Oasis,  really tiny lobster. Ate the flower.

 

And then came the stir fry. We each got one. Hence the food coma.😉

 

No need for rice or noodles, so much veg.

Peppers, onions, mushrooms, celery, asparagus,  snow peas, and broccoli.  Very spicy and piping hot. 

 

But I still got dessert

Put Laura to bed and headed to DL for a couple of Bailey's and some electricity. 

 

 

I learned on the President's cruise that there are 120 outlets under the monitors in the DL.

 

Time for the show. Ciao for now

Comics were just Ok.

 

I've seen Cary Long before.  Pretty much same routine. He didnt engage audience until the end when he showed off how many languages he spoke. Lame.

 

Nery was funny. Self deprecating fat guy. Really engaged audience.

In the DL, is that one outlet per Pinnacle?  You better start snooping in the SL/CK to see how many are there, that’s where you will need it. 😉🙂
