RJ2002 Posted August 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2019 Not a full live blog, but wanted to share some pictures from tonight’s Seven Seas Society reception - which also commemorated Navigator’s 20th birthday. CD Ray and Captain Atanas paid tribute, and recognized three crew members who were aboard 20 years ago, including GM Franck. Only 12 passengers aboard our Amsterdam to NY sailing (final segment of the Grand Arctic Quest) are first time Regent guests. One couple received their Diamond Level (+1000 nights) pin. Service and cuisine outstanding.

papaflamingo Posted August 24, 2019 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2019 (edited) We are doing the opposite itinerary on Navigator next year (NYC to Dublin). Also interested in anything you want to write about this cruise especially Greenland and Iceland. Have a great cruise! cruiseluv Posted August 24, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 24, 2019 Looking forward to any reports you want to share with us. My first time on Navigator was 19 years ago, glad to see she's still ticking! Cruising on her in November, cat wait. Have a great cruise!

We'll (again) be on Navigator in less than 2 months and are very much looking forward to riding on her again!
Joanandjoe Posted August 25, 2019 #8 Share Posted August 25, 2019 RJ2002, we are on the Navigator, and don't remember seeing you at the Meet and Mingle on the 2nd day of the cruise. Please contact us in 518, and we'll try to get together for lunch or dinner on the two sea days coming up. We hope you enjoyed Nuuk, Greenland. We certainly did! Joan and Joe Mach, on the Navigator now.

Joanandjoe Posted August 26, 2019 #10 Share Posted August 26, 2019 We took the home visit and short walk, and enjoyed our hostess's songs, cakes, and stories very much. The walking tour ended at the shuttle stop; but we took a walk from there. Joan found some bargains at the local shopping mall: 10 items for 5 kroner each. Fun. The shuttle has more than one stop, so we could have stayed in Nuuk for awhile, rather than choosing to go back to the ship. I wouldn't have expected to be docked in Greenland; but we were. I'm not a big fan of tenders. Joe

Hope you enjoyed the cruise as much as we did.

ARDXXX Posted September 5, 2019 #13 Share Posted September 5, 2019 We are two of the first time Regent Cruisers on this Cruise. Really enjoyed the experience, great food - better that Oceania which feels that it is the best food on a Cruise ship! Crew very good and very well looked after, pleased that we have four more booked.
