They have a separate line for Concierge.

Priority??? Well, with all the priorities for Suites, Aqua, Elites, Select, left handers, vegetarians, cat lovers... (joking of course) it might be a priority on paper, but not really more than that.

There is a separate line.  We have sailed in a concierge room frequently and have rarely waited in line more than a few minutes to check in.  Off topic, but the concierge  lunch is nice, no fighting the buffet crowds.  Not a huge selection but certainly all we needed.

Interesting.  CC cabins used to get priority tender tickets.  Another of LLP's death of a thousand cuts?

Why should they get priority tickets? It was never the case....

Suites and Elite and above only. Not even Aqua which is still above CC.

Interesting how clueless LLP can be.  She tries to sell concierge class as a premium product but eliminates percs like priority tendering and priority luggage delivery which save X nothing.  Only real remaining perc is embarkation lunch in mdr.

I would agree. We were CC In April on Eclipse out of San Diego, and although there was a separate check in line, we still had to take a number and wait to be called to embark. I was a little disappointed, truth be told. I'm not sure if other ports handle it differently.

I wonder why people just repeat stuff... in the ten years I am cruising with Celebrity, so long before LLP, I have never seen priority tendering as a Concierge perk.

Also not for Aqua, which is what we usually book.

This time it’s not to be blamed on LLP 😁

Same here no priority since at least 2011.  On the other hand there have been enhancements to Concierge; embarkation lunch, a actual Concierge and on  cruises we have been on helipad Sail Away or Sail In or Bridge Tour.

What is the role of the Concierge if I have already pre booked my excursions?

To provide information or assistance as needed.  Maybe your luggage didn’t make it, they can help you locate it; need info on transportation post cruise, they can provide info, have a erroneous charge or missing perk they can help.

When Concierge Class was first introduced (way before Aqua), priority tender tickets was one of the perks along with the beautiful flowers upon embarkation and great fresh fruit delivered (and we all know how the quality of these perks have greatly diminished since their introduction). They were the incentives along with more points (5 per night vs 3 for regular balcony) for paying more for CC cabins. More points is what got so many of us to Elite and EiltePlus status. Pretty sure the embarkation lunch is a pacifier for taking away other perks like priority boarding for those who previously experienced the perk.

On our Jan EDGE cruise, Concierge guests received several special event invites..including a sailaway from the area in front of the spa, escorts off the ship etc

Odd because AQ Class guests received very little other than BLU and thermal suites . No special attention at all despite the higher fares. Used to be much better!

On Solstice now in a Concierge cabin. We had a paper in our cabin saying to go to deck 3 and show our card and we would be led to the next tender to leave. We were in no hurry and later they quit giving out tickets to anyone and anyone could get on board pretty quick.

I am am just happy with my cabin location and getting more points per night. Did not go to the lunch, it started at 12 and not 11:30 as we thought.  Opted out of the canapés.

I always got priority tender tickets in the past in CC cabins.

Maybe because you are Elite?

Anyway... I was never made aware of it being a specific CC perk. It might still be.

To be honest, for us CC and the CC perks were never worth any extra money. Much prefer AQ because of Blu.

So for us it’s either AQ (or suite) or regular veranda. CC in rare cases where the price is almost the same as veranda.

Everyone can board whenever....those arrival times are suggestions, not requirements, in an attempt to spread out the crowds.

Concierge will I’ll have a dedicated check in line.  That is what Celebrity means when it says “priority boarding”.  It does not mean you will be first on the ship, but it should mean you will be ahead of passengers who have no priority.
