Marie50 Posted September 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2019 (edited) Are they now a la carte charging for each thing on Divina, Seaside and Meraviglia? Edited September 25, 2019 by Marie50
Até Posted September 25, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2019 Divina, no. Seaside, yes. Meraviglia not currently on European sailing, but possibly yes once it hits the US.
cellfree Posted September 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2019 And food in Divina Sports Bar is excellent, we skipped the Dining Room one evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you go peak lunchtime it could be very very busy.
FMZ Posted October 4, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2019 I can't find a good menu for Seaside sports bar? Does anyone happen to have one? Considering doing this for dinner one night.
jdvmd Posted October 7, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 7, 2019 Would love to know what the Seaside sports bar serves and the costs.Anyone know?
Até Posted October 8, 2019 #6 Share Posted October 8, 2019 It was on posted on here a while back, created a lot of comments because the 6 wing basket was less than half the cost of the 12 wing basket. The pre October, 2018 CC threads don't appear to be searchable.
dexddd Posted October 8, 2019 #7 Share Posted October 8, 2019 Went through there several times this year and never saw anyone eating. Also never very busy. They have nice lounge areas with your own tvs.
Preziosa Posted October 8, 2019 #8 Share Posted October 8, 2019 When I was on Meraviglia the food was free, but you had to stay and eat in the bar close to the sports area.

Not free when I was on Meraviglia ☺️
Rare Captain-John Posted October 9, 2019 #10 Share Posted October 9, 2019 Just off Preziosa and the food items purported to be free, but the bar had strange opening hours and we never got the chance to indulge (we would have liked to have gone for lunch one day)
Rare BermudaBound2014 Posted October 21, 2019 #11 Share Posted October 21, 2019 Bumping this in the event anyone has found a menu for the Sports Bar on Seaside? or Seaview?
perakcruiser Posted October 21, 2019 #12 Share Posted October 21, 2019 Currently on Seaview. Sports Bar only has one dish: Wings with sauces. Never saw anybody eat there.
Rare ziggyuk Posted October 21, 2019 #13 Share Posted October 21, 2019 (edited) This is the tread with the comments about the wings on the Seaside. The wings are the last image. Here it is pulled out: Edited October 21, 2019 by ziggyuk
perakcruiser Posted October 21, 2019 #14 Share Posted October 21, 2019 Exactly the same Menu on Seaview. Just € instead of $
Rare BermudaBound2014 Posted October 21, 2019 #15 Share Posted October 21, 2019 thank you! That menu is significantly different than Divina. Does anyone know if Divina changed the sports bar menu? I wonder if all the ships are scaling back the sports bar menus.
Rare little britain Posted October 21, 2019 #16 Share Posted October 21, 2019 Divina menu (May 2019).. and the best barman onboard!
Oxo Posted October 21, 2019 #17 Share Posted October 21, 2019 I really don't understand why they are changing from free to reducing menu options and charging. This not only applies to MSC, but to all cruise lines. They will continue to do so as long as people buy.
perakcruiser Posted October 21, 2019 #18 Share Posted October 21, 2019 Food in the Sports Bar never was free except some US sailings I guess. Actually it was not a question of free or not, there was no food option at all. In all my MSC cruises over the years I used the Sport Bars quite often, but never saw anyone eating something. But I like the menu posted above, would be nice if MSC would roll it out.
jdvmd Posted October 21, 2019 #19 Share Posted October 21, 2019 Wings were the only thing available on the Seaside. We got off the ship on Saturday. Lots of people ordered.

I can do wings if they aren't deep fried. Also, which sauce did you try?

Totally complimentary. Problem was the hours of the sports bar were terrible, but people were eating during my many walk throughs.
