Holiday Card

Did anyone receive a holiday card in the mail from Princess this year? I have for many years, and so far, no card for me.

The Global Innovators are sending the cards this year.

 

They will initially be surprised that there are postal regulations specifying size and thickness,

for first class mail, causing a re-engineering delay.

 

They will then announce a schedule by state ... of card delivery dates...

 

...none of which will be met.

 

 

Then, there will be folks here calling me a technophobe for not embracing the new system.

This was a very strange holiday card, if that is what it was as it says "happy holidays" at the end.

 

Princess - go back to the drawing board for next year. This was a huge miss.

 

No card in the snail mail for me either.

I should have been clearer, that was what I have received in the past, not something through the regular mail.

      Perhaps Princess is being environmentally  responsible by not putting thousand of cards in the (snail) mail and instead, sending holiday greetings through the internet with an e mail blast.

       After all, how many Princess customers upon receiving a card in the past, opened the envelope,read the card,then tossed it in the circular file ? 

Sending e mail saves a lot of resources.

       I have to admit that this Baby-boomer has taken a cue from the younger generation and I have sent holiday greetings by text as well as phone calls to cut down on the cards we usually mail.

I have received an email card for some years now.  I am thinking they send these to customers like me who have selected email correspondence in profile.  I have deselected receiving things by snail mail.  That said, I do get the Annual cruise catalog and the Captain's Circle mag.

Thanks for the heads up.

 

I had a look in my spam folder, and there it was, amid the nearly daily spam from princess cruises.

 

I left it there.

 

Nothing says 'we care about you' like Mail-Merge!

We must have received a dozen or more upsell offers & ads for their tours in the last month or so. 

They didn't forget about those things. 😏
