I was a bad smoking teenager.

 

Put 30 cents in the machine, got back a pack of cigarettes with 3 pennies taped to the side.

I think one of my favorite things about cruising is that I am not even close to being the oldest person in a group. 

I have a 'round number' birthday coming up on Sunday and it's still only two digits.

But as I am fond of answering these days when asked how old I am .. 

"I am as old as my tongue but a little bit older than my teeth"

My wife is trying to convince her mother to come on our cruise in April, as there are staterooms available.

Her mother is 79 and replied - "I thought cruises were full of old people"

Old?   I’m freshly retired...my key to staying young is acting the age of those I’m with and they are usually a lot younger than me.  I mark my 71st birthday on the day we embark on Edge on 2/9.

Dakahuna- I loved the " teeth comment"- even some of my teeth are younger then my 51.
