The Porch

I have searched and found mixed info. It’s been a while since we have cruise on an “S” class with “The Porch”. The last time we were on the Reflection they were only open for breakfast and lunch. If I read correctly they are now open at dinner as a seafood restaurant. What is the lunch menu now? It used to be mainly sandwiches. Appreciate the information.

We were on the Reflection last June and four of us had a wonderful lunch at The Porch during one of our sea days. The place was empty except for one other table occupied by a family of 8.   We had OBC so happy to use if for a special lunch.

We went specifically for the Seafood Tower which was very good.  Perfect ambiance on a sea day where the buffet was packed.

Agree!

They also offer a very nicely mixed sangria...

We have eaten dinner at the Porch each time we have been on Silhouette.  If you are a seafood lover, you will enjoy it.  Sometimes we use it for a light dinner and sometimes we get 1 of everything and fill our bellies.  It is usually empty with only a table or two of guests that aren't officers and higher level crew.  The service is very good.  We will miss it on our next cruise (Equinox doesn't have it).

Be advised that currently ( had lunch at the Porch last week) the charge for lunch is the same as dinner and almost an identical menu, $30  pp. And that does NOT include the seafood tower, which is an additional $15 for 2 people. Two years ago the tower was included in the dinner price and the lunch was only $20 pp.

Well that changed quickly.   We were only there last June and lunch was $25 and included the seafood tower.   Considering it was never seen it busy, seems expensive.

I miss the original Porch menu.  We really enjoyed getting panini sandwiches to enjoy on our Alcove days.

Also miss the original Porch menu.. great breakfasts and paninis...

Smaller upcharge than present menu...dh allergic to most seafood!
