We are on Freedom this October for a Southern Caribbean route that includes, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia and St. Maarten.  That's 6 ports on a 7 day cruise.

Agree on San Juan , freedom class or voyager class are both great.

And the sailings from San Juan usually alternate between eastern islands and southern islands.  Do a B2B to get both.

Definitely Freedom.  It is an awesome ship with great itineraries. Flights to San Juan can sometimes be expensive and inconvenient though depending upon where you live.

Have embarked from San Juan on 3 different occasions (Freedom twice, Adventure once) these are some of our fondest cruise memories.

We have taken four Southern Caribbean cruises out of San Juan and like others, highly recommend.

We did these same ports on a Carnival cruise and loved it! There's nothing like waking up every morning and going out on your balcony and watching the ship dock in a different port.

I agree with previous posters on the Freedom out of San Juan. We're sailing her in June and can't wait - she's our favorite RC ship and that was before her amplification

Agree only get one repeat island at worst and see alot of the Southern Caribbean

We are doing a back to back on the Freedom in October. I can’t believe all the amazing islands we will visit. If you like islands, Freedom is the best choice.

Freedom looks like a fabulous ship.

Miami or Port Canaveral (Orlando) is much easier for us flying from the UK with daily flights but there are far fewer islands on itineraries from there than San Juan.

Just got an email advertising that Freedom will be doing cruises with ZERO sea days.  Reminds me of when we booked four snorkeling excursions in a row on an Eastern trip.

Yes, mostly definitely the Freedom.  We recently sailed her (just before drydock) for 6 marvelous weeks. 

Starting a cruise in San Juan, Puerto Rico is also special.

We are booked on the freedom with no sea days. I am excited I don't care for sea days! We have been to all of the islands before so we can take it easier than normal.
