Good morning everyone just a quick pit stop here in kodiak Alaska today I have taken 100s of photos, I can’t catch up on everything I’ve missed but I hope your all well and happy. The cruise is going very well and we are loving queen Elizabeth ship , service brilliant and food good .

Hi all,at Munich airport with Phil and Carol.TUI have offered us 7 days prorata refund of the cost of our holiday and £100 voucher each.Not too bad maybe, the first 4 days were good.Who remembers the song "Camp Granada" lol.

We thought Arvia was brilliant.  Everything except the beef bucco in Olive Grove. Very fatty, but the lamb shank terrine was  very good. Apart from that brilliant.

Two of my favourite things, Alaska and the Queen Elizabeth.

 

I loved the atmosphere on QE, not stuffy at all,  We had real fun.  We used to laugh looking in Queens in the morning when they were doing their exercises, scruffy lot😂  After that we got chairs out and did some chair exercises .  Then in the evening it was a gorgeous ballroom and everyone was scrubbed up. We really enjoyed her and her impeccable service.

 

Aren't the icebergs unbelievable close up. Enjoy every minute.

We're home, that was a bit of a drag, our flight to Manchester from Munich changed to Gatwick  then an option of stay in Radisson and bus to Manchester next day or bus straight to Manchester. We took plan B as it is Mrs YP big, big big birthday today and she wasn't over keen on wasting it. All in all we enjoyed the cruise, loved Vienna and got to meet Brian and Marilyn @brian1 and had some cracking weather before getting to Germany.
