I love her markings.   We had a surprise pregnant rescue cat several years ago.  It was really fun watching the babies be born and her caring for them.

Currently on Ovation for the next two weeks.   I was on here last week also and the weather has been beautiful in Alaska.  Well, Skagway was a bit sketchy.

Was suppose to be on Radiance starting today, for the next four cruises, but due to propulsion problems, they cancelled the 9/1 and 9/8 sailings.  
Thanks to my FANTASTIC TA, I have a cabin on OV for the next two sailings and I’m  hopeful they have Radiance back up and running by the 22nd, so I can continue on my original journey.

Fingers and toes crossed.

My mother was an avid bird watcher and had many bird feeders at our family home. Her favorite bird was the cardinal. After she passed away I started seeing a lone red cardinal come into my back yard and sit on a tree limb. I am convinced it is her spirit coming to visit and make sure we are doing ok. That cardinal comes back every winter and makes me feel good.

 

My mom's favorite bird was a cardinal.  Have many mementos with cardinals on them.  We have what we believe is a family that frequents our yard, a few males and females, think of my mom whenever they are around.  My granddaughter has started saying there is Gigis mommy when she sees them. 💖

We have some bushes outside living room window they ate frequently visited by cardinals and bluebirds they used to drive our cat Gracie crazy , Joebob could care less 😁

Beautiful photos & have to say that even though I always book holidays/cruises direct, a TA in a situation such as you had with the Radiance would be invaluable and save so much stress.

It’s Spring here so as well  as chasing planes Max had been given a bit of variety by barking at King Parrots, Kookaburras, Eastern Rosellas, Magpies, and other birds.  He leaves the lorikeets and Indian minors alone as they outnumber him…

Not till Tuesday,  I'm not an expert but I think we will dodge hurrican Lee, hoping there's not another one brewing when we go up the coast to Boston in 10 days or so

Working on an airline ticket desk for decades we always rebooked everyone in the very very rare occasions that a flight was cancelled. 

Things seem to of changed a lot in the last few years
