I saw similar huge ones in Curacao and St Maarten at the cheese guy's!

I remember one cheese place that had them, but I don’t remember the island. We would walk from the ship into town. On the way there was a cheese shop on the water side and across the street there were goats on the sides of the hills.

Hope you feel great now and knees are as good as new.

It does feel really good, but hopefully good as new will be real soon. I do get a little stiffness if I sit too long, but moving it a time at two and it’s good.

I'm glad to hear you are doing so well.  Stairs and inclining terrain are the two things that are leading me to consider TKR.  Sounds like I'll have to deal with those for a while after surgery too, but hopefully not for too long.  Let us know how you do on your cruise next month.

I definitely will.

I saw your post months ago about getting an injection in your knee and then the cryptic date message to OB saying you got a date.  I figured you had TKR when I saw a different message saying you were at 105 or something close to that. 🙂 I am happy that had good results and are ready to cruise soon.😀

You’re good. I didn’t think anyone would figure it out. 😊

Ok, am I crazy, or did a half dozen of my posts with photos disappear yesterday?  I only see one that had photos of our home for this week.

It appears that the kids vacation countdown board, the crazy lines at Pittsburgh airport, some beach photos, and others all went poof.

So in case you were unable to see my invisible posts yesterday, we are in Myrtle Beach for the week.

It's been oppressively hot here, also.  We've pretty much been staying inside.

How great that you've booked an OV w/large balcony with your casino rep for Eric's birthday.

Jim and I did a repo from NYC to New Orleans back in 2012.  Our hotel was just off of Bourbon Street.  We had a great time there, and thought it would be a "great adventure" to take the Amtrak train home from there.  😁  If you will have a few days in NO prior to the cruise, the World War II Museum is a must see!

Was this on NCL? During Sandy? We did a repo from NYC to NOLA at that time.

I saw your accommodation pics and wondered where you were. Beautiful way to greet the day!

Anyone know what kind of shell this is that I found on the beach this morning?

Those would be the mermaid Ariel’s seashells 😉

Yes that does. Goats, hill and cheese shop. Old Amsterdam cheese shop. The ones in Curacao are at the mega pier one side facing the docked ship.

.

Beautiful! Is this a VRBO/ AirBnB place or a hotel. What great view to wake up to and the place is very nice! I have never been to Myrtle Beach.

And Celebrity CEO hasn't been there yet , it seems, to remove those lovely loungers off the balcony!😉

We participate in beach clean ups locally, it's scary what you find, especially in the dunes, but never one of those.  Thankful they provide gloves and the long picker thingies.

Enjoy your time, looks to be a steamy week here.

Hopefully you don't find the bottom matching shell. 😁

No, that is at a hotel.  Lazy river, slides, and all those nice things the kids like.

Funny you should mention, but I think it was the bottom, about 100 yards away.  No picture, because it was in a ball, but it was a matching color.

Invisible indeed 😢 Sorry.

Glad you've found such a nice place to spend the week, and your daughter is enjoying a well deserved vacation.

Good afternoon.

It is 63°F at 15.26pm and cloudy after being sunny all morning.

The sea was nice and calm this morning when I had a breakfast bacon bap and coffee at the beach car park.

I hope everyone especially Dani @dani negreanu are safe and well and y'all are having a great day.

From one of yesterday’s disappearing posts.  Ordered a Wicked Punch at the Wicked Tuna.

IMG_1674.thumb.jpeg.646b048c5694a73eae167d580af27711.jpeg

I didn’t know it came with a take home cup. They said “take it with you”.  Maybe because it had the name of a place we weren’t at.

Anyhow, my grandson said he wanted it, so it is his now.  Has a slot in the top, so it looks like it could be a piggy bank.

The espresso martini sounds really good.
