Thanks.  He is actually a rugby playing reindeer with a rugby ball in his front hooves.  There is another rugby player under the icicle soldier but it is hard to see now because the tree is drooping terribly because it is so dry.  We are going to take it down tomorrow to be safe.  My son has played rugby since high school, played in college, played one year professional and now plays on a men's club team locally, so he gets his rugby ornaments front and center.  Hopefully, he will be buying a house soon and can put them on his own tree next year. 🙂

Mr and Mrs Sea Dog are proud to announce the arrival of Lady Elizabeth “Lizzy.” She was a little scared on the ride home obviously because she has never ridden in a car. I held her in my arms.

 

she got home and we took her outside where is did go potty. Came inside and the breeder said feed her as it was time. She ate all her food, took her back outside 10 minutes later and she did her number two. I hope this will continue. Now she is asleep in my arms.

 

Now let’s backup. At the breeder we were told that all the puppies had been sold except for one. Well guess what?

 

 

Yes we added a brother to Elizabeth. Meet Sir Charles or Charlie as we will call him . We will come back and pick him up next week after he is microchiped. We couldn’t be happier. This

The last out our small family gatherings happened today.  We watched 3 of the Vacation movies and grazed on snacks. 

 

Homemade nacho dip, veggies, jumbo shrimp, and a cheese and meat plate. In the top centre of the photo you will find cheese covered pickle slices and mushrooms stuffed with cream cheese, jalapeños and bacon. 
 

 

 

Homemade spring rolls, pot stickers and dumplings with a pineapple sauce. 

 

 

Hot homemade buns, warmed Brie, bits and bites, handmade meatballs in the crockpot and grandma baked sweet goods. There was no meal, but we are fully stuffed.
