Woman asks me name of my baby.  I tell her Cosmo, she gave me the strangest look and walked away mumbling to her husband something like "what's wrong with people nowadays, who names their son Cosmo"   I couldn't help but shout out.   He is a Ginger😁

Cosmo Kramer on Seinfeld 🙂

Hi Deb, I am feeling better everyday.   Still have some congestion and a cough.   I slept in until 8 am today.   Felt soon good.   😀

How is your Family?

Doing well, thanks.  We have our granddaughters today and overnight tonight. I just put them down for afternoon naps, ie: rest time for Nana & Papa 🙃!

We had a Cosmo kitty. Brian is a huge Seinfeld fan and he did name him after Kramer. 😂985E009A-C6E0-4788-B983-444B890E3DB0.thumb.jpeg.2960e938fb645d34d901d5e4b126bda9.jpeg

It’s a wonderful feeling when you finally visit a place that you didn’t expect to visit due to long distance.

I'm so glad that I had the foresight to give preference to all the long haul flights when our son was a flight attendant. We took the opportunity of very reduced prices to fly Business Class to Sydney, LA, NY, HK and Singapore, and also to a land tour of Beijing/The Great Wall....

I've always quipped that the only way for me to reach Sydney will be either sedated or Business Class.... not knowing then that the "kid" will fulfill my wish....

Without any scientific knowledge and strictly my opinion, I'm presuming it helps lessen the severity of symptoms not stops people catching it.

As for a 4th shot, I am also on the fence.

@FromSea2ShiningSea Helen and @Luckynana Maryann,

We're also on the fence, after 2 Vax and 2 Boosters, with me getting Covid, albeit mild symptoms but with a very long lingering fatigue...

We're now invited to get the 3rd Booster [aka 5th shot], which is supposed to guard against "Omicron & Sons"😉. In speaking with friends, vaxed and boosted like us, nobody took the 3rd.... Yet.

Lessening the symptoms vs. an unknown booster.

I am happy to report that I have eliminated 1 of the 6.  I don’t think the other 5 will ever be eliminated by me.  And why do they consider alcohol a food?

My DH is still at his wedding weight.  The GP says it’s rare in his age group.  I put it down to him being a non-drinker (plus he regularly exercises).  Since the pandemic he has cut down on meal portions at dinner as well.  Heart disease runs in his family so he is really taking care of himself now.

Re your question, beer belly is definitely a thing here for men over 50.

Happy Birthday to you for the 27th Graham.
Were the superb meals you enjoyed & posted here from the MDR or from specialty dining on the P & O Adventura?

@grapau27

They were from the speciality restaurants on P&O Ventura.

We dined 3 nights in Epicurean speciality restaurant and

1 night in Sindu Indian speciality restaurant.

Sunday morning before we went to the cathedral for mass, DH went to the Galleria Della Academia.  I did not go because I did not feel like I could walk very much without much pain.  He took pictures of the famous statue of David, some other statues and some paintings.

Fantastic pictures. They’re the next best thing to being there.
Aside from the beauty, the fact that we are looking at them centuries later and they look so beautiful and perfect is amazing!

That is excellent your husband is still the same weight that he was when you got married.

Heart disease runs in my late mam's family.

I used to work out with weights before my heart attack which helped me.

I always carried aspirin and when I had a strange chest pain I took 3 Aspirin and went to hospital and the ER consultant told me the aspirin reduced the artery blockage and severity of my heart attack.

I had 1 coronary stent fitted.

Best regards.

Graham.

Love your pictures!  I saw that statue and many others by the artist several years ago at the Vero Beach Botanical Gardens.  It is hard to describe how big they are in person!  So fun!

@ReneeFLL video worked for me.  Beautiful water.

And true colors. My underwater camera made everything look yellowish.
I just realized…that one spot that looked like a splash, is that when it bit you?

Now I have a question that came up after telling a friend of mine about how with Viking the date upon which you can start booking excursions depends on one's room category. He said it's "the same on most cruise lines" (presumably including RCL and X since those are mostly what he sails on). Is this true? If so, I've never been aware of it. Seems to me that if you go on the website and excursions are already listed, anyone (in any room category) can book them. No? I've never been made aware of any specific date at which excursions become available. Can anyone clarify?

I have never heard of this and I didn't think it's true.

Glad DH enjoyed them.  I figured you would have gone to Bondi during your stay.  Your former hotel is in a great location as you know

I've been enjoying your wonderful pictures, as always, aussie.  You certainly have an eye for taking awesome pictures.  Thank you for sharing😉
