My favorite thing from our trip to Vienna was the giant Ferris Wheel in Prater amusement park. My husband who is a movie nerd said this was where Orson Bean made his famous cuckoo clock speech in "The Third Man."

Here's a photo of the Ferris Wheel.

I recognize that stop! It was on our first river cruise. It’s the place with the cute sculptures with the street sewer covers.

It would be good if I could remember its name. But I’m happy just to recognize it.

Oh! Bratislava?!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mom's who are on this board.  Mother's are the glue, fabric and foundation of families.

As a fun uncle with one nephew who lives and breathes Lightening McQueen and another who is the same for Toe Mater, and as a resident of the area, I can tell you with absolute certainty that you are both incorrect!

I took these photos at Disneyland so not sure what you are saying.

I'm saying the photos are from California Adventure, which is where the Carsland attractions are.

If you don't think Disneyland and California Adventure are separate parks, then you never had a non-park-hopper ticket for one and tried to use it at the other. 😀

and that’s a FACT

The devils in the detail, as is often the case

My Faunt in Anaheim was almost as fun as you are, Funcle.

She took me for my first time to Disneyland when I was 5 (looooong before California Adventure). Had there been Cars Land, I probably would’ve spent the entire day there, too!

Hope your nephews appreciate their Funcle as much as I did my Faunt.

Yes you are correct and I was wrong.   I should have said California Park within Disneyland Resort

Saying the other person is correct is something that some on this board cannot seem to do when they are wrong.  Oh well, A stick here. A dog there.  Bow wow.

Never hard to admit being wrong.

OK, five years ago before boarding Symphony we visited both parks at the Disneyland Resort.

Although smaller we prefer Disneyland Park.

When we lived in California there was only Disneyland Park and back then Disneyland Hotel versus the additional ones which came later.

And yes photos from both parks just because............IMG_0151.thumb.jpeg.fea6a2ece82bc8449d499f85ff2e40fc.jpeg

At last

Someone who knows what they are talking about. 😁

I knew you would post.

By the way, when I am wrong I say it.  Some don't.

Next, we'll get a laughing smile from you know who.

The nice thing about this is you can't feel old around here as some act like they are still in grade school.

Q: Who's bigger, Mr Bigger or Mr Bigger's Baby?

A: The baby is a little Bigger.

It's splitting hairs, and not that anyone would know this from just walking around, but in terms of acreage, Disneyland is a little bit bigger than California Adventure.

It's also interesting that to walk from one side of the Grand California to the other is about the same as to walk from the Grand Californian to the Disneyland entrance. You can get all your daily steps in just walking around the hotel.

Didn't know that but in 2018 stayed at the Grand California for the first time. In 2017, 2016 and several years before that stayed at the Disneyland Hotel.

As some who know me well would guess, I get all my steps in prior to the opening of the park so the rest is pure gravy.

Anyone here been to Disneyland earlier than the first time I was there? It opened in July, 1955 and I was first there in August, 1956. It's been a while and there's a lot I haven't seen as my visits there were in 1956, 1958 and 1964. 🤪😃🙃
