We did the Seasider trip second last time in dunedin.....  it was a bit different    got as far as the tunnel a little east of port chalmers, but could not get onto wellington control for permission to enter the tunnel, so we have to go backwards half was back to dunedin station before putting the loco on the right end...

 

An example of Fat Controller said NO....lol       we did do on the last trip dec 2019
