Shareholders File Lawsuit on RCL

Recommended Posts

Class Period : February 4, 2020 - March 17, 2020

Lead Plaintiff Deadline : December 7, 2020

The filed complaint alleges that defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Royal Caribbean misled investors to believe that any issue related to COVID-19 was relatively insignificant; (2) the Company falsely assured investors that bookings outside China were strong with no signs of a slowdown; (3) the Company was experiencing material declines in bookings globally due to customer concerns over COVID-19; and (5) the Company's ships were following grossly inadequate protocols that would foster the spread of COVID-19 and pose a substantial risk to passengers and crews.

Jakubowitz Law is vigorous in pursuit of justice for shareholders who have been the victim of securities fraud. Attorney advertising. Prior results do not guarantee similar outcomes.

During those dates, everyone, WHO, CDC, China, Dems, Repubs, Drs. Fauci and Brix, et.al.  didn't think it was as serious as it became.   Guarantee that Jabkubitz Law stand to rake in a bundle as do a few arbs on Wall Street with borrowed shares.  The cruise community, maybe 1/2 to cost of a soda on the ship.

did you purchase shares during the period listed? Have you subsequently sold those shares at a loss?

Ah, didn't read anything in those few lines posted regarding the crux of the issue.  Wouldn't involve me then.  Thanks.

In class action suits involving other stock I own, I am notified and required to choose to join the lawsuit (or not).

Yes, that is after a settlement has been approved.

You then have the option of taking the settlement amount or opting to sue on your own.

Yeah, because lawsuits concerning stockholders losing money stand a chance lol.  It's a risk you take when you purchase stock. And, it's not securities fraud.  They left out a little part about the CDC and not allowing sailings.  This probably won't ever get to court, but of course what they want is a settlement which in no way should happen.
