Daily sunrise photo

A somewhat hazy sunrise this morning 31 August on QE's approach to the Canal.  Panama City buildings on the horizon.  A pleasant 27c temperature.

Another sunrise from my 2012 Queen Mary 2 transatlantic to Southampton.  On September 1 we were near the midpoint of the crossing.

Today's sunrise is the last from my 2012 Queen Mary 2 crossing.  September 2 was the penultimate sea day on the way to Southampton.

Sunrise today 3 September from QE in the Caribbean.  I imagine Biggles might have enjoyed the view from the top of the stacked deck chairs. 

 

Our two labradors, both gone now, would have loved morning walks on Cunard.

Monday 4 September.  QE is sailing northwest off the Cuba coast this morning.

It's red and gold formal night this evening on QE.  Just in case I sleep in tomorrow,  here is tonight's sunset.

I did make it out on deck for coffee and sunrise this morning 7 September.   It was worth it!  ☕ 🌅

Saturday 9 September on QE's first sea day for the TA from Bermuda to Madeira.

Sunday 10 September sunrise off QE's port bow.

Monday 11 September.   Sunrise, moonrise, and Venus rise on the middle day of our TA.  Venus is at the upper right just above the cloud, a small white dot whose pixel will hopefully get through Cruise Critic image compression.

Tuesday 12 September.   A very bright moon and Venus this morning at first light.  Seas remain calm and skies clear, well away of the storms to the west and south.

Wednesday 13 September, QE's last TA sea day before arriving Madeira tomorrow.   Some overcast and low rolling swells from storm Margot behind us to the west, but remaining dry and calm.

A late sunrise this morning 7.37a Friday 15 September between Madeira and Cadiz.  Apologies for the glass reflection in the second photo.   We were at breakfast already when the sun emerged from the horizon.

Our weather has been extraordinarily excellent.   We've missed every major storm from Hilary to Lee to Margot, there has never been any more than a passing shower, and seas have been calm.  Could not ask for better conditions.
