So saddened to hear this. The last time we interacted was on another RIP thread; I didn’t know that would be the last contact. She was always so considerate, helpful and kind. She will be remembered, and she will be missed. Prayers for her husband Joe, and you, too, Jacqui.

Raise a toast (Grey Goose Martini, chilled, up) to Krazy Kruizers. She will be missed.

We walked down to the ocean from our home and tossed our wreath in the water!

🌴🌴With Greygoose in hand we did a wonderful toast TO OUR BELOVED KK❤️

Very beautiful.  Just like my friend, Yonnie.  I miss her.

This was posted in Saturday’s Daily thread by moderator and CC boss, Laura S. I thought it would be nice to have it here as well.

Everyone here at Cruise Critic's Community Team will keep Krazy Kruisers in our hearts and memories, and we offer up our deepest sympathies to everyone who knew her.   A long-time member and contributor, her presence will be missed.

Like all of you I was saddened to read of the passing of Yonnie, Krazy Cruisers. My DH and I were privileged to meet Yonnie and Joe on a 23 day Pan America cruise back in 2007, shortly after I joined CC. Back then, Neptune Suite people had the 1st night Officer's reception in the Neptune Lounge. I was standing in a group and overheard a woman talking and I thought to myself she sounds like Krazy Kruisers so I asked her and she was.

We saw them on a few other cruises and would have a drink or a meal together. Yonnie and Joe were a lovely couple both so willing to pass on their traveling experiences.

I think LauraS's tribute is lovely and DeeniEncinitas's  wreath in the ocean is a perfect commemoration . I am sure Yonnie is smiling down upon all of us, Grey Goose in hand.

Has anyone been able to reach Joe by telephone?

There was no other family.  Yonnie often said, "All of our friends have either died or moved to Florida."

I was speaking to another CC member who has been in touch with him and although he was very sad and lonely at the time, he seemed to be coping.
