CRUISE CAPACITY

Hello Everyone ~ looking forward to our September sailing on the Oasis.  Does anyone have information on the ship capacity for Royal Caribbean sailings?

This choice of font and color make it difficult to read your question. My Adventure sailing was 900-something passengers. Felt just right to me but I could see some people who want a more lively atmosphere  not liking it.

I'm one who cant read this as written. I see it answered but add me to the list who hates light color teensy script font for older eyes. I'd have to blow it up and find glasses to read this. Have pity on older eyes.

Thanks everyone ~ I upped the font size, hope that helps.

Great that you upped the font size and changed font color from blue to black, but if you insist on that "Comic Sans" font, think you need to up the size even more.  Just sayin'

Your sailing will be at 35% +/- 20%.

Are there any stats available on past cruises regarding capacity?  CDC keeping tally or is this a guess? Based on?  Not to sound snarky -- I'm genuinely curious.

Some cruisers post the numbers of their sailing. CEO Fain mentioned that they are sailing most ships at about 35% capacity to start and go up 10% month. Adventure, which has been sailing for over two months doesn’t seem to have that trend yet.

As an example I got off Odyssey this morning. We had about 1900. The cruise that boarded today was just under 1000.

I am sailing on Odyssey 8/22.  Someone that boarded today asked guest services what the expected # of passengers is for next week and they said around 600, so around 14%

I actually heard that also. I'm going back on the 8/28 sailing and hope capacity stays low. Although everyone was pretty good about masking and social distancing in areas not designated as vaxxed only I felt the pool deck was crowded and had too many kids under 12, considering the circumstances. Coco Cay was great.

I just returned from the 2nd Odyssey cruise, and I was told by multiple crew members that we had 1700 onboard.  The ship capacity is somewhere around 4500.

In most respects it was pretty awesome to have a "private" ship and also a sparkling new ship on the same voyage.

I think what I am most concerned about is the shows & entertainment.  We love watching the piano in the Schooner and the Guitar in the pub and it will be so weird/awkward with a small audience.  Also we are casino people so it will be so weird with 600 people onboard.  Hopefully lots of them are gamblers. 🙂

I am on that one too.  I am on a B2B2B  so will be onboard until  9/11/21.
