I noticed that there was not many Live cruises this week so I will start this one.  If you are on this cruise and want to add here please do so. This will be my first try at this so any help is welcomed.  

 

We will be leaving shortly for the Port.  We stayed last night at the Hampton in the Brickell area so we are only about 15 minutes away.  Are cruise along friends had their flight canceled last night but was able to book a new flight this morning and should land within the hour.  

Our check in is 12 to 1pm but we both RoyalUp to a GS so we can get there earlier. 

I am sure we will be busy for a while but plan to at least catch up here before tonight or sooner. 

Breakfast was good at the Hampton but looking forward to cruise food. 

Welcome aboard and I hope you enjoy the cruise with us.

CC is glishing.  Second attempt to answer. The Pic shows the schedule but was told it can easily change each sail.  I will post about the RoyalUp later.  Don't want to type and loss it again.

3 or 4 weeks out our JS bid was canceled and GS pending.  I believe it was last Monday when we won the bid.  We first saw it hit the credit card then on RoyalUp.  It varies for all.

What was your first cruise cocktail?

When they brought it to the table I thought it was escargot too.  It's actually scallops in butter and garlic.  I couldn't remember why I stopped eating scallops a long time ago so I tried them.  I could hardly taste the scallops but I enjoyed dipping the bread in the butter and garlic. 

First cocktail, water. 😁

This is my 3rd attempt to answer.  Short answer.  We arrived about 11:20 and waited maybe 5 minutes in line.  The regular line looked long and didn't look like it was moving yet.

While O3B VOOM is pretty good, satellite based internet is not known for reliability.

No lounger. Heard you could ask for one but we will probably not spend a lot of time on the balcony. 

I have used that technique when posting from the iPad.  When I went to post it looked like the first Pic was going to be above the text and others below.  When I submitted they all posted below like I wanted it to.  Never happened before.

I was asked earlier about boarding. Now that the day is slowing down, let me add and post pics. Our boarding time was scheduled 12:00 to 1:00. We arrived at 11:20.  The suite line was opened. It did not take any longer than 15 minutes to board.  Several where in the standard line and not moving so I am assuming they were not letting anyone on early.

We have heard there are around 3,000 pax. Not sure how accurate that is and I plan to ask others.  Understandably when we were walking about 12:30  the pool looked like this.

 

As they day went on it started picking up. I am liking that we are seeing more than expected.  Usually on day one there seems to be more traffic especially around elevators.  Today there is a modest crowd. Doesn't feel empty like reported even last month.

That's for sure.  I wonder what time they got there.  The ones sitting around where we got dropped off looked more content.
