Social distancing pretty good but some guests have no clue.     We were sitting at  the bar last night (Rendezvous) which was totally empty a group of 4 came in an parked themselves about a foot from us.   We decided to move.

Good for you. stay away from the ignorant and stupid

This could definitely have been a factor.  SW is really having some issues and definitely would be considering other options if traveling in the next couple of weeks.

Friends of ours  were cancelled by SW Air .without any notice. Luckily they checked flight before going to the airport.  After being run around by SW Air for a whole day, they cancelled..banked credit.  Booked with Frontier..non stop flight..no issues.  Sw sent them a $100 pp credit for future travel.

We have cancelled our next flts on SW Air..banked credit.  Pop up asked why..we said they are now more unreliable..more folks getting abandoned in Baltimore..the downside of SW from where we live.

The SW Air meltdown  is  possibly why folks  did not arrive to cruise.. SW is still taking time to catch up!

Really? Have you heard of large numbers of people cancelling for this reason for every cruise sailing? Pretty sure we would have heard about this.

I think it is kept kinda quiet.   I know on our ABC cruise last month there were about 200 no shows..

I'll let you know when we do turn around on this cruise.    Reality with a no penalty up to 48 hours it really makes it painless.    Add on the 48 hour test requirement and if you fail you are also refunded up until the ship sails.

Good seeing you.    You guys got the New terminal.    How is it or is it just like any other terminal?    If my information is correct we will be docking there next week.

Hmm... Stone Time next year.    Did you have too much JuJu.  LOL -----

We are having breakfast in Blu today.   7FBD9D1F-75C5-4ACA-A4E9-07F2D0658577.thumb.jpeg.b9a91e51da7aeb5336f18a7b65880ca2.jpeg

Back to the debate of hand squeezed OJ vs processed.  I can say for sure the OJ in Blu is freshly squeezed.    I base this on mine having a couple small seeds in it and LOTS of pulp.

I had the eggs Benedict and Iain just pastries

I was considering doing this cruise to use up a FCC but decided against it.  Now I regret that -- looks like a wonderful time.

Thanks for posting the Blu menus -- they look really yummy, (more so IMHO than the Luminae menus).

We have to agree.  The food has been very nice and we have also ordered a couple things off MDR menu.

Alex is the restaurant manager and is very engaging and a perfect host.

Our waiter is Jorelle from the Philippines and Assistant is Oki.    The Sommelier is Jennifer - very sweet and very knowledgeable.

The new clean Cuisine is a nice addition.   The top 2 are always on menu and the others change daily.

After breakfast we walked down to Pier 41 to take a ferry to Tiberon.   We had a little trouble getting tickets over internet.    It changed my credit card then threw an error message and no tickets.   We were directed to a little red booth about 1/2 block from pier.   She gave us the tickets and apologized.   That burnt up precious time but we boarded 2 minutes before the ferry’s departure time.

The ferry had a large tour group but still plenty of room. The first stop was Angel Island.   Angel Island was the West Coast version of Ellis Island but is now a state park.

After leaving port we swung around and passed Alcatraz.    The water is calm and virtually no wind.    Temps are in mid-70 and very pleasant.

Thank you so much for the live posts. I got “moved up” to Aqua Class in the next cruise. Did you previously post that you can order from the MDR dinner menu in Blu? Also, could you please tell me the dress code?

Thank you for all the photos of Blu,  especially the menus.  Looking forward to several of those dishes (and the bread basket) next month on our Millie cruise.

We just had neighbors return from a cruise on Allure of the Seas (at 50% capacity) and said that mask wearing everywhere except the pool deck or while actively eating or drinking was highly encouraged. Are you finding that to be the case on Millie? I guess it’s easier to social distance on a smaller ship. We hope we aren’t required to wear a mask in the fitness center while on the elliptical! I always like to stay ahead of my calorie consumption! Ha!

So much appreciate all your feedback…enjoy the rest of your cruise!

Dress code is always smart casual but on Chic night even in Blu people dress a little nicer.   Some dinner jackets and glam dresses.

Yes, on M-Class and S- Class you can order from MDR menu.

Masks are not required once aboard the ship inside or out.   I would say 20-25% wear masks inside and out.    We choose (personal choice even though triple vaxed).

it is really up to each passenger and their comfort level.   Many more on the Pacific Coastal than our Caribbean.
