No Chocolates, assume this is the new policy going forward for all ships going online.

I'm hoping it is temporary due to Covid precautions, but I am afraid it is just another Princess cutback.

Assume a number of passengers also forgoing turndown service too.

Did not see special Norman Love pastries/muffins at International cafe, will try to remember if these have been discontinued.

We had turndownsercice last night. I had Norman love dessert last night and i did see the pastries this morning

@AF-1 Do you happen to know what time the last tender runs when overnight in Cabo? We have dinner reservations on land that might not get us back to the ship until 10pm. Will that be ok?

We have not arrived Cabo. We just left LA yesterday don’t arrrive till tomorrow

Yes I am retired AirForce 29 years, 19 years on Air Force One

Thanks for your service…did it include on 27000 which I’ve visited on display in the Reagan Presidential Library’s Air Force One Pavilion?

There were many thunderstorms in the LA area & out to sea last night for your sailing & hopefully the conditions weren’t too rough.

28 for me. Thank you for your service!  F305 should now be called the Air Force Suite. 🙂

That would be nice.  I went to the military social in wheelhouse bar today. There  were eight who attended

Yes i flew on  27,000 for eight years with President Reagan.   My wife and I visited the museum in 2019.   The storms did not bother us last night. We saw lightning but sailing has been smooth so far.  Wifi is very fast.

This morning i ate in horizon court around 7am.  My wife was sleeping.  Then at 9:30 we went to Crown Grill for breakfast. I had waffles and sliced fruit.  Does anyone know if you can get expresso in crown grill at breakfast.  I had regular black coffee.  Maybe tomorrow I will ask.

Have a great cruise! I take it everyone still has to wear a mask everywhere indoors unless you have actually sat down to eat or are actively drinking a beverage at a lounge?

Sorry I missed responding to your comment. No one onbaord is abusing the face mask policy.  Everyone wears face masks indoors and do not take tem of until seated for a meal

So, just for clarity, folks on the Grand are following a more stringent "face-mask anywhere outside your cabin or when actually eating or drinking" policy rather than following the Princess guidelines posted on their website like someone just suggested was being implemented on the Majestic.

Will I have to wear a face mask or physically distance?

First, we strongly encourage guests wear face masks when in public spaces indoors. ALL guests will be required to wear a face mask – with no exceptions – in elevators, retails shops, in the casino, and other designated areas except while eating and drinking. Guests will also be required to wear face masks prior to being seated in our main dining rooms and in the buffet area, and occasionally in other designated areas where larger number of guests may congregate. As a reminder, masks are required during embark and debark in the terminal, and masks should also be worn during the debarkation process on board.

From what I am seeing. Facemasks are bing worn in retail shops and playing bingo and other trivia games. If you go for a walk around the ship on deck 7 or by the pool I have seen people sitting in lounge chairs with masks on but have also seen people sitting in pool chairs without masks. I feel safer on this ship than I do in my local bar at home

Just to be clear, people are actually wearing masks outside by the pool or on the Promenade while lounging ?

Is this being asked or are signs posted outside ?

@AF-1  Thank you for your service and keeping our presidents safe.  And to all the other service members who have given of their time and lives.

You can order almost anything at the Suite Breakfast.  I've requested a crab and avocado omelette.  If they have it on board, the head waiter will try to get it for you (within reason).  The MDR used to have a cowboy steak for breakfast.  Didn't want to miss out on that....so asked.  Being such a short cruise, not sure what will be available ... the next morning.

Haven't heard if you can have breakfast on disembarkation day.  Usually not.

Just received notification that my cruise will depart on time but arrive in Cabo an hour later.  Leaving Cabo the scheduled time.

Face mask Signs are posted all over the ship. Outside the bars, dining facility’s, gift shops, elevators. Hand washing signs are by dining rooms and buffet. When you walk inhorizon court they direct you to the sink to wash your hands.

Sorry  don't mean to harp.. Again to be clear you're saying  "all over the ships", so you're saying outside on open deck  there are signs posted to where masks ?

That must have been a great experience & an honor to be part of that presidential detail. 👍👍

The Marine One helicopter on display at the library was the type he’d fly to our heliport to be motorcaded to events.
