Radio, can't believe that Linda and I were on the Oasis Oct 3rd with you and didn't have coffee together. Had no idea you also were sailing her with us. Just searching forums and thought of you and was hoping you were again out there doing your fantastic LIVE posts and found this.

 

We sail again Dec19th on Carnival Legend out of Baltimore. Honestly would be sailing Anthem instead form Bayonne but wanted to sail in that great Main Deck aft cabin with the huge deck we love one time. Only the Pride, Miracle, and Legend have those so decided to sail the Legend this Xmas cruise.

Imessage uses wi-fi, does sms ( or whatever it is ) phone service when wireless not available or texting non-apple device. Had no trouble texting grand daughters who are on Apple, they had to relay to their mother who is not Apple.

Texting on Android phones will work over wifi (in airplane mode, so no cell data) on the ship (with wifi calling enabled), most of the time.

We had a beach cabana at Coco Beach Club yesterday.  Just myself and my spouse.  A few observations:

- The cabanas have a speaker that you can connect your iphone to via bluetooth.  Wifi connection was excellent and we were able to play Pandora radio with no interruptions.

- The mini frig does NOT lock.  While sitting there, a person walked up to our cabana twice to look at things.  We told the Cabana attendant who immediately asked them to leave.

- There were 2 cabana attendants serving us.  Bring enough cash to tip at least 2 attendants.  We did.

- While eating our lunch at the cabana dining table, the flies were many.  We moved our food to inside the cabana to eat.  They did not follow us.

- The AC plugs are located inside the closet.  Fortunately, we brought our mini power strip with usb ports that extended out to the top of the mini frig.

Thanks for doing this. I really enjoy your morning updates and photos. Question - it was mentioned that there was a new house band starting on Anthem this week. Have you had a chance to see them? We have been on Anthem 3 times and for each cruise the house band was the Royal Swedes. Was disappointed to hear they had moved on. We will be on Anthem leaving on New's Year eve so we are really enjoying your posts.

Hello everyone and good evening. Today was a very relaxing day. There were so many different events today, I didn't know which one to select. I sat through a couple of trivia events, but never I seem to make it through the whole event. Afternoon Trivia, Ultimate Trivia, Friends Trivia. I'm not very good at trivia competitions.

 

I spoke to the Hotel Manager today. We were discussing future Cruise occupancy levels.

It was suggested that the next sailing would have over 3000 passengers and that the 2 holiday sailings which follow, would be a full ship. More crew will be coming on board this Sunday.

 

I was able to watch the rehearsal of Beatles Revolution show on Monday but I didn't reserve for last night and was Denied Entry. Note to Radio: Be sure to make a reservation for the shows you want to attend.

Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 7 of "LIVE" on Anthem of the Seas.

 

Today is our final day at sea, while we head back to Tropical Cape Liberty Cruise Port.

The weather today includes very cloudy skies with on and off rain. The seas are a little rougher than normal, and I am sure the wind has something to do with that.

 

I was delighted to attend Captain's Corner this morning in Two70 on Deck 5.

Captain Iv (pronounced -Eve-) and the Hotel Director answered many questions for about an hour. I like that the captain has a sense of humor, and he was willing to crack a few jokes.

I have a Diamond Plus 340 event at noon  for lunch and Anthem of the Seas officers will be in attendance to answer questions. 

 

I will try to get some packing done before lunch. Here are a few pics from this morning.

Any way's So the holiday sailings might be at Max capacity. Bummer. I am on the NYE  sailing. So excited.

Captain Iv suggested at lunch again today that Anthem of the Seas will be sailing with over 3000 passengers starting tomorrow, and will sail full for.2.weeks after

It appears to me that all precautionary measures have been working. There hasn't been any reported covid-19 cases. Real Caribbean is paying attention and monitoring situations on a daily basis.
