I wish I could see your videos but our very new computer is not letting us see them unfortunately.

Yikes… I am sorry to hear that.  Are you not able to see all the videos?  I wonder if I need to upload them again?  I checked on my phone and it seems like it’s working.  Sorry about that!

Benny, glad you had a fabulous trip and that you're back home safely now but with so many great memories.
What a fantastic review!!😃 Thank you so much for taking the time. With all your photos and in-depth reporting it made all of us back home feel like we were traveling with you. We have an upcoming cruise on Apex and have to decide in the next day or two whether to go or cancel and after following this thread we've decided to go. We've been on Apex before and can't wait to return. We'll social distance for the reasons you mentioned and take precautions.

We're just curious and didn't see any info on this but what happens if one of your waiters becomes positive and they've been near you since they're serving you is that considered contact tracing also?

Same here - I can view them on my phone, but not on my computer 😞

Thank you so much for checking it out!  I hope you have a fantastic cruise.  Please do compare this review with other cruisers who are no onboard and will be onboard later to see if there have been any significant changes and of course with COVID related changes.

I only experienced a waiter swap in Normandie where the name did not match the table and asked about it and was told he is unavailable.  I don’t really think waiter server interaction would qualify unless you spend a lot of time chatting with them.  Our total interaction with the waiter and server has been less than 15 minutes total.  That included greetings/taking orders/ serving.  Plus there were a lot of empty tables around us so it was not a crowded space the the MDRs.  I can’t speak for Blu or Luminae.

All nice! A question: was the Thermal Suites (all 8 steam and other rooms) open?

The Thermal suites were all open to eligible guests with access and with spa pass purchased onboard.  I did not buy a pass because our schedule was full and them close contact trace thing.  Enclosed steam room, sitting with others with no mask was not something we want to risk.

Only open to Aqua class unless you pay for a day pass. Still can not view the videos from my Dell PC. Must be a cruise critic hiccup!

So sorry to hear that.  The videos are playing on mg iPhone and also on my PC.

Benny, I also wanted to express my appreciation for this amazing thread. I know how much time it takes to do this and TBH many a times myself I'm no longer interested in making any more trip posts on a particular post. I was on the Apex last month for nine days and there are many things in your photos that I never got to see in person myself, so thanks for the wonderful travelogue.

We just finished watching all of your videos and they were fabulous!  Great job all around…what an enjoyable thread to read this week.  Our next cruise is on Apex and you made it come alive for us.  Thank you so much for your dedication in taking us along for the ride.  I’m going to start at page 1 and read it all again!

And the typical me first Carnival cruiser would possibly cut off my wife for an elevator.

I'm a 'typical Carnival cruiser' and would be the first person to hold the door for your wife.  On the other hand, I have been almost run over by people in scooters trying to be first in the elevator - not even giving me the chance to hold the door for them.  So there's that.

Thank you both (Benny and SNJ) for this fabulous, informative, upbeat, and positive review of the beautiful Apex. The pictures are magazine worthy too!

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I was on the Apex in November and had never seen some the places you photographed so well. It might have been the casino that caused me to miss a few things, especially the shows and music.

Will be on the Edge in a few weeks and I will be sure to enjoy a few more shows, listen to the music in the Martini bar, and just walk around and take in all the beauty that is the Edge class.
