Good Monday morning  and thanks for the Daily Report.

Another cold, snowy day here.  Yeah, it's winter.

An interesting collection of days.  I don't think I've thought much about beer cans before.   It's nice to receive a compliment, and important to give one.   Everyone needs a good belly laugh once in a while.

Great quote.

I think I'll pass on the meal but look forward to seeing the description and pictures.

I hope the drink of the day is good.  I'm sure the wine is tasty.

On this snowy day, I'll be happy to see pictures of today's port, I haven't been there.

Prayers for everyone.

Hope that today is the start of a good week.

Stay safe.

Good afternoon from a mild 45°F and sunny NE England.

Thank you for today's daily and fleet reports Rich.

A belly laugh is good for us.

To give or receive a compliment is a nice thing.

A very true quote.

I have not been to this Spanish port so photos will be welcome.

Prayers 🙏 for all that they will help.

Wishing everyone a happy and good day.

Graham.

Good Monday morning everyone.  Thanks for the daily report and lists.  Great collection of days, nothing beats a good belly laugh!  I really like Emerson’s quote, to thine own self be true.  I’ll pass on today’s meal suggestion.  The drink sounds like it is tropical.  I haven’t been to today’s port.  Prayers for everyone on our list and cheers to everyone celebrating happy events today.  Ugh, Monday, time to get up.

Thanks for our Monday Daily, Rich.

What an interesting collection of days.  Beer Can appreciation?  Not a huge beer drinker (except in a port at times where they have different ones to try) but I”ll celebrate the day and try to give a belly laugh at the same time.

Compliments can really help others and how they feel.  Love that quote by Emmerson.

Not sure about the meal suggestion for today but will check out the recipe out of curiosity and look forward to the drink and wine of the day.

We have not been to Motril but we have been to Granada by land.  Amazing.  I highly recommend a visit there if you have the opportunity.

Off to visit with my Financial Planner this morning.  Unfortunately, there are things that have to be attended that I never thought I would need to worry about 😔 But it has to be done so best to bite the bullet and get it over with.

Prayers for everyone on the Care list & for those that need them and 🥂 To those on the Celebratory / Shout Out list.

Have a great Monday, everyone !!!!!!

A cold one for us. It was 29 when Bindi and I went out this morning. Luckily no wind. I need to get my place ready. My rugs are being cleaned today.

Good morning everyone. I never liked the taste of beer but my mother used to rinse my hair with it after a shampoo. To this day, I’m not sure why.

Fingers and toes crossed that this new aide arrangement will work out for us.

Stay safe everyone,

Carol

Good Morning! Frigid here in TN also, but warming up to the 50’s.

Beer cans are very versatile. However, I prefer mine out of a bottle or a tap. I love giving compliments. Doesn’t hurt to make someone feel nice! Belly laughs are good for what ails you, in my opinion.

I like the quote - quite apropos in today’s society. They are making it difficult for people to be themselves because as soon as someone is different (thought, action, etc.), then they are treated as less than snail snot. It needs to stop.

The meal sounds vaguely like turducken, which is a big fat NO!

Drink and wine sound delicious 🍷🍸

I’ve never been to Motril but have been to other parts of Spain and enjoyed it very much.

Prayers to those on the care list, and to those not on the list but who need them anyway.

Good morning from 28 F Florida. We had a quiet day yesterday celebrating DW’s birthday and had a nice South Beach dinner with no wine!☹️

I have an annual medical checkup today so I did the laundry yesterday. Neighbor has recovered nicely from his very mild symptoms of Covid. In fact he was out raking up some leaves during his quarantine. The main issue for us these days is not the physical effects of catching it but more the complications and trials if you have to quarantine.

We have been to Granada, awaiting to read about the meal and a great quote that are worlds to live by.

Thanks Rich and Roy and to all who make the Daily a daily part of our life’s.

Good morning  and  thanks to all for the wonderful  birthday wishes.I did feel like a princess and completely  enjoyed my day.

I used to love beer but we parted ways years ago. It was better for both parties!

I am curious  about the recipe and look forward to pictures  of the port.

@aliaschief,Happy belated Birthday to your DW!

@kazu,Jacqui,sorry about the cruise cancelation.  I hope things start to become more manageable  soon.

We had a dusting of snow but expect warmer temperatures  today and tomorrow.

Take care everyone.

Terry

Good morning, thanks for the Daily!  Who knew that beer cans would have their own day?  If you give someone a compliment, you can change their entire outlook for the day.  I love a good belly laugh; there's nothing sweeter than hearing one from a child.

Well happy Monday everyone from the chilly frozen tundra (-17C or 1.5F) where winter will be with us for a long time yet.  We had snow overnight again so I'll be out there once more with the shovel.  DH can come with the blower and clean up the little trails I leave along the way.

I've had the drink of the day and quite enjoyed it; the last time I had one was on a BHB.  I like today's quote - you don't have to change your whole being in order to be accepted.  Many young people should be aware of this.

@rafinmdI think you can take our DGS off the care list, as his cough is nearly gone; he's going back to school today, as he's reported a negative test this morning.

I know penguins had their day last week, but I saw this yesterday and had to share it with you:

Penguin.jpg.86301adc1bc4f22fcf5719ebdbb7cd49.jpg

A friend of ours is taking us out for lunch today as a delayed celebration of my birthday, so we're going to a local place that makes what is called a Skirt Burger.  It's a large hamburger on a brioche bun with a 2" skirt of cheese all around it.  I know I'll only be able to eat 1/4 of the meal, so will be bringing the rest home with me, and I'm sure DH will do the same, so I'm relieved of kitchen duties tonight.  For us instead of "vegducken" (which to me sounds awful!), it'll be leftovers from lunch.  And wine.

Prayers for everyone who needs them and even for those who don't think they do.   Extra prayers for Jose, his medical team, for @kazu who has such a burden on her shoulders, and for all those with family and health issues.   We'll raise the glasses high to celebrate all on the happy list.   Stay safe, wear your masks, get your boosters, wash your hands, keep well, and stay warm!

Smooth Sailing!  🙂🙂🙂

Gerry
