Rules re vaping

Vaping is in the same category as smoking….not allowed anywhere indoors including the stateroom.  Outdoor use is allowed in limited areas but the balconies are not among them.  She will need to go to one of the areas where it is allowed, which will be spelled out once on board.

11 years ago we did our first cruise in Celebrity and one reason we picked X over HAL that had a similar cruise was the smoking policy.   A few years ago HAL allowed smoking in cabins and balconies, X did not and still does not.

I have a cousin that vapes and don't care for it at all.  It is better than real smoking, but not that much.

Ah, yes it is!  There are security cameras all over the ship, including the outside. Cruise ships have some of the most extensive and best security systems and cameras anywhere.  Don't kid yourself - smile, as you are most definitely on camera just about everywhere.

It is def true, next on board, look around the ship, everywhere, on your balcony look over the side, their security rivals what they have in Vegas casinos/hotels

Two pages of comments and no one quoted the web site   If someone did I apologize.

For the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, our ships are designated as non-smoking; however, we recognize that some of our guests smoke. Therefore, to provide an onboard environment that also satisfies smokers, we have designated certain areas of the ship as "smoking areas." Generally, smoking is not permitted except in designated areas. (Contact Guest Relations for additional details). This policy includes smoking-like products such as electronic cigarettes.
