Where does one find the cheese sticks and funnel cakes? Was there a few weeks ago and forgot about them but only saw the typical burgers and hotdogs. Would love to know where to get these other goodies!

Also curious on the "free things".

Havent been on a cruise for 3 years and its been 4 since coco cay.  Looks like alot has changed.

So is there a layout somewhere??  Which area has the free pool??  Are beach loungers still free everywhere??  Or certain areas??  and where are these good chicken sandwiches??? snack shack??

Oasis Lagoon is the big pool. It is complimentary, and very big. All seating around the pool is free. Beach loungers are all free... plenty of included beaches. The only areas that you pay to enter are Thrill Water park and Coco Beach Club.

There are two snack shacks outside of thrill waterpark. One on Chill island, and one on South beach. Both included areas. That is where you get the chicken sandwiches. (I think the secret they are referring to is to also order the mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce, and add them to sandwich for a "chicken parm" type sandwich. I have not done that but I get the chicken sandwich and the mozzarella sticks almost every time. The enormous grill has burgers, tacos, salads and more. All included.

You should receive a map on board before you arrive at Coco Cay. I go very frequently, and love it.  I attached a copy of the map.

Snack Shack...South Beach.

(Deep fried Mozzarella sticks to be exact) we were there last week.

* Even the burgers tasted better and the sweet smell of funnel cakes was insane.

The best free thing to do is nothing.  Absolutely nothing.

And I mean that in the absolute best way, too- not that it's a waste of time.  Just find a quiet place, and relax.  This is exactly where that romantic dream of relaxing on an empty beach with clear blue water in front of you can happen.  Let it.

If you want to be active- swimming can be done in so many places.  If some cost is ok- rent a kayak or paddle board.

And most of the food is free- which is a pretty big step up from the previous version of Coco Cay.

Everything is free to do, except for the items that are not.  So, if it not listed a cost, than it is free.  Pools, oceans, beaches, swimming pools, and of course chairs.  Also, all food is included, except for what is listed as not free

Sounds like you were at one of the Grills.  Cheese Stick and Funnel cakes are at the Snack Shacks. There are three of them: Chill Island, South Beach, and Thrill Water Park.
