ms Nieuw Statendam and ms Rotterdam in Port Everglades March 27, 2022

Rotterdam is scheduled to arrive at 5:30 am to pier 26 (port to).  She will leave for a 7-day Western Caribbean cruise at 4 pm.

 

Nieuw Statendam will arrive at pier 21 (starboard to) at 6:30 am and depart at 4 pm.  She is leaving for a 10-day Southern Caribbean Seafarer cruise.

 

Also in port are Celebrity Edge at pier 25 (6 am - 4 pm), and Allure of the Seas at pier 18 (5:15 am - 5 pm).  Radiance of the Seas will be in port without passengers - arriving at pier 2 at 9 am, shifting to pier 19 at 10 pm, and departing at 5 pm on March 28.

The NS arriving against the sunrise is beautiful!

The camera person did a nice job showing us people eating breakfast...lol!!

 

All of the ships look great, I love seeing them all lit up against a dark sky.

Just arrived home from a week on the Rotterdam. We made it home to Punta Gorda in record time. Off the ship at 7:30, on the road at 7:45, home at 9:55.

Mixed feelings on the Rotterdam, World Stage is an ugly showroom. Ship had  decor that constantly changed, there was no rhyme or reason. Really liked the Lincoln Center. Lido Marketplace was outstanding. The Dining Room was beautiful.  Cruise director Kimberly was super. Had some very good meals in the Dining with one on the first night not good at all. All the food in the Lido was very good except for 1 morning as my omelet was too greasy.

Service was spotty as the ship was filled to capacity, our waiter told us that they were short on crew members and had to bring some over from the Eurodam, a few crew members came down with mild cases of Covid but we never heard if any passengers were infected.

That is what my thoughts are concerning the decor and the World Stage (and it being so poorly used) when I sailed on Nieuw Statendam.
