This was a small community in the fjords of maybe 100 people.

Just wanted to add that I uploaded these photos while still cruising through the fjords! 😁

And here are the remaining pictures as we have now exited the other side! 😁

And in goes the MS Hamburg. It definitely would have been tight in certain places if we met her going through the fjords! 😂

We visited there last summer during a two-week road trip around Iceland. Looks like we spent about 10000 ISK per person, or ~$75-$80, for the premium package, which was admission, a few extra amenities like flip flops, all the face masks, and a couple drink tickets if I remember correctly. I imagine the price is a bit higher now, but still!

There are cheaper (and IMO better) pools in Iceland, but they'd be somewhat challenging to access without a car.

Were you able to stay all day? The way the Blue Lagoon booking process looked, it appeared you reserved a 1 hr time slot. Hopefully that’s not the case and you were able to lounge around in the thermal pools all day if you chose to.

The Elton John tribute should be fun!

I'm impressed with the number of daily lectures.   Very nice.

Me too, I don't remember seeing any advertised on our 9 night Beyond cruise a couple of months ago, though we did only have two sea days

Rick, aren’t you heading this way either this month or next out of Southampton, or are you just going to Iceland?

Yes Ken.  On Silhouette out of Southampton to Iceland and back.  End of the month.

You've had a lovely voyage.  As you attended a number of lectures per day, what would you have done if not attending on a 6 day crossing??

The only time I remember no lectures onboard was on 7 day or less cruises, and we don’t do those anymore. Well, I take that back. We were on an Edge B3B made up of three 7 day cruises back in August when cruising just started back up. But Celebrity was so happy to have us all back, they had a lecture on each of the sea days on those cruises. But, if you really want to know what we did, early in this thread I listed my Live From threads since cruising started back up and the first one was that Edge cruise. 😁

I guess I was wondering if I didn't do seminars, what are the other options to keep busy?  I see from your post above there are afternoon shows, and I suppose the casino is open...maybe movies in the theatre?  DH is leery of so many sea days and perhaps the deck weather won't be as comfortable to use the lounge chairs.  This is our first crossing so we're totally out of the loop as to what to do during the day.

I know @Jim_Iainposted the numbers on his thread earlier which were quite significant. But I would think its to be expected with a longer more “boutique” cruise like this one. We’ll just follow the instructions in the letter and see what happens. But we’ll probably head over to the Cosmopolitan restaurant after 10 or so.

Hopefully, a lot of them have booked excursions. One can hope anyway. 😂

I was concerned about the CC breakfast in Tuscan but have heard it hasn't been over crowded.

While the total CC membership may be high many also have priority in Suites, Aqua and Concierge which had different meeting areas.

Reality -  I think almost everyone has a priority of some type or other.

Since we already have our “plan of attack”, you can check out the Today’s I post every day. They might help you figure out what else is going on, especially on sea days. I know that’s what my DW uses to plot out our next day activities.

This evening after dinner in Blu we headed to the theater to watch Joshua Jordan, a comedian and magician, who was quite funny!

Then it was off to the Rendezvous Lounge to watch Puzzle of Points, which was very engaging where everyone participated!

And then when we got back to the cabin, the dreaded notification that we had to test before transition day was lying on the bed. Oh well, this will be the sixth time this year to take the dreaded test to continue on to the leg of the cruise. What’s the new old say, “think positive, test negative!” 😁
