I went on a December cruise and earned my first Crystal Block on that cruise.  I was told that I would receive it by February: so in August, where is it?

We have several on a shelf in a place no one seas.   Waste of space and I should probably just throw them away.

We have all of ours in the living room on the credenza/liquor cabinet. Love displaying them, they are pretty.

We earned ours on a cruise before the Covid shut down. GRANDEUR OTS and after all this time and 2 visits to the on-board loyalty centers on separate cruises and 3 phone calls, we are still waiting.

LOYALTY ??

At least we get our D+ drinks and drinks in the casino.g

Still no block, called Royal, and no new shipments, for Freedom of Seas!  Instead of going Royal, as a result of this; I booked 14 nights, back-to-back, on Virgin.

Because they're having supply issues with a paperweight? Enjoy Virgin.

FYI, Virgin is matching Crown & Anchor Status, for Diamond & Above.  Both my 8/6 night cruises, will have (Nov. Promo) Comped $300 drinks credit, plus Tier Benefits including: $225 onboard credit, bottle of Champaign in cabin, VIP check-in, VIP Party, Rock Star VIP Rep., etc.

So if I am at 135 points and get on a 7 day cruise, is that the ship I will get? Can I ask the loyalty ambassador if they have a block for that ship even though I only get to 140 after the cruise?

Yes. You are supposed to get a letter in your cabin asking if you want the block onboard, if you want it shipped to you, or if you don't want it. See the LA if you don't get that letter. Just be aware, the block may or may not be available onboard.

On Harmony 5/29, I went from 115 to 143 (suite booked during covid double points). I didn't receive the letter and didn't even realize I was owed a block so I called when I got home and it was shipped (after about 3 months).

I got to my 140 points on day 6 of our Alaska Ovation cruise.  I went to the LA on day 3 and she looked up my account then asked if I wanted to take it then or have it shipped.  She went around the counter and came back with it in a couple of minutes.

We just earned ours for 350 pts on the cruise that ended Monday. Should be interesting to see how long it takes for us to receive ours.  We took advantage of multiple lift & shifts and ended up with 7-day B2B that gave us 28 points each!

On my last two cruises where I had earned a block, I had to go see the loyality ambassador on board the last day of the cruise as I never received any acknowledgement that I had one coming.  Both times I had to prove that I had the correct number of points.  Loyality ambassadors are falling asleep on the job.

On the bright side, just off of Adventure and they do have blocks on board - at least as of last week 🙂

Champagne problems, lol. I was fine waiting 3 months for mine to be shipped. It's my first and it's still in the box. Don't even know what I'll do with it.

Glad you were able to get this recent one onboard!

They require constant dusting.   Get too many...it takes a long time to do it.  😉
