Bar menus and drinks offered? Your favorites please!

I see some updated bar menus, thanks to links here on CC.

It seems that some of the menus and drink recipes have changed?

Am I missing the Key Lime Martini that many used to mention?  I assume you can still get one.

And for those that like dessert drinks like the Dirty Banana, the newest, just released, menus show a simpler recipe.

So many to choose from!

I am not seeing a recent thread about favorite drinks onboard.

Maybe we could start one.

Just got off the Enchanted this week. Didn't drink a whole lot this time, but for fun non-alcoholic drinks, I tried out the Sunshine Daiquiri (I think that's what it's called) and thought it was an excellent thirst-quencher-- it wasn't too sweet and was very refreshing.

How about margaritas.  Which one is best if you want some sweetness to it?

They're all sweet IMO, at least on my Regal B2B last month where they used the Oasis margarita syrup as their mix.  That stuff is concentrated and meant to be cut with ice/melted ice in a frozen drink, not used as a mixer on the rocks.  I tried all the margaritas on the menu and settled on the 24K gold margarita, with tequila as well as Cointreau and Grand Marnier (one is mixed with the drink, the other a floater, but I don't remember which is which).  All the varieties of margaritas were way to sweet for me, with the exception of one casino bartender who would add water to dilute the Oasis mix before mixing the drink.

Okay....   They were using Oasis Mixers.....  That tells me everything.

We will be ordering some of our drinks in person, like a Pina Colada, less mixer, extra ice and/or pineapple juice, please.

Did have the huge 24 Caret, back before the shut-down...  and it wasn't sweet at all.

No added mixers or simple syrup or anything.

and some fancy cappuccinos.

Wow, thanks for sharing those photos.

I have only seen Latte / Cappuccino art like that at barista competitions.   Any chance you remember the name of the barista?

I don’t, but he was on the Grand Princess in March of this year. It’s the best I’ve seen on Princess.

I really like the Beverly Hills Iced Tea and is an embarkation tradition for me.

My first time at Good Spirits bar on the Discovery, my favorite was the Yucatán Sandia En Fuego margarita. It was so pretty & yummy, watermelon with Serrano peppers  and a black salt rim.
I agree, most drinks are way too sweet for me.

Haven’t seen the Lynchburg Lemonade on new menus does anyone know if is still offered ?

Even if something's not on the menu anymore, in my experience the bartenders will still make it on request if they know how and have the ingredients.

Yes it is...

Photo taken on Enchanted end of July 2022.

It's also one of the standard cocktails that you can order anytime on the app.

DH has always been a vodka martini drinker, then he discovered Chairman of the Board while chilling out at the Platinum/Elite Lounge.  On our upcoming November Enchanted cruise I'll be sipping my tradtional cosmo.  With the beverage package, we may be tempted to sample a few new drinks as long as they are not super sweet. I know we have wine tasting, but don't recall martini sampling on Princess. Always loved that on Celebrity cruises.

Next month we’re taking our first Princess cruise since before Covid. I am soooo looking forward to my first Chairman of the Board!

my 'rum girl wife' likes the Dunes martini in Crooners - I'm a simple man - give me a cold beer, a decent Cab, and a single malt scotch and I'm all good ... and lots of Pelligrino's and Perrier's (whichever is available)  ... and throw in a few Jamesons in my coffee

My wife loves the Lemon Drop Martini (lemontini) and, of course, her poolside beer(s) in the afternoon. (She does love the aft pool area to relax, read, have a beer or two, and a short dip to cool her off.)  I tend to drink Bullet straight up. For mixed drinks I drink the Chairman of the Board with a twist and the 24K Gold Margarita - on the rocks, in a rocks glass, no salt.

Someone on our last cruise (total stranger) was trying to decide on what to have and thought maybe a margarita and asked which one I thought they should try. I told them how I drink the 24K Gold Margarita and they asked about having it blended instead. I said it would ruin the drink. They then flagged down a waiter and asked him about the drink and if they should have it on the rocks or blended. He also told them that blending it would ruin the drink. I'll never understand those giant piles of ice with a bit of drink hidden inside.

I have had several waiters try to tell me that ordering this drink in a rocks glass will mean it's a smaller drink and blah, blah, blah. I end up having to explain to the server that the actual drink ingredients will easily fit into that type of glass - it's just the stupid pile of ice that makes the other version so large. The bartenders, of course, understand perfectly.
