Just boarded Voyager in Copenhagen

Recommended Posts

We’re on board!

to answer a few questions:

Arrived  at the port by taxi easy peasy. Got on board in 10 minutes at 11 am. They examined the negative test, twice, glanced at the vaccine card.

They have regular soda cups.

Windjammer is fully self-serve.

We do not have to physically go to muster station, just have to watch the video on the app or in the room.

Ships looks awesome.

I’ll check back in tomorrow. We’re onboard through September 18, when she arrives in Boston.

They never asked for you negative test?

That is correct.  There were several on our FB group that posted like me.  Asked us the same 3 questions that we had already answered on the health questionnaire and we waked right on.  Didn't show vaccination certificates or proof of negative test.

We found her to be in very good shape.

If you play slots you may be dissapointed though.  Geared towards Asian market.

Thanks. Haven't visited the casino in years except to walk through.

How was the airport?  Did you fly nonstop and if not which airport did you connect through?  Can’t wait to board in 2 weeks.

Keep your fingers crossed if you are travelling through Frankfurt.

Lots of people on our cruise packing carry on luggage only and using ships laundry because if luggage horror stories.CPH had luggage in piles everywhere although it looked to be mostly SAS

I was supposed to be on your sailing but cancelled this spring.   We were going to fly non stop on SAS.   Sounds like they have luggage issues too!  I could never survive off carry on luggage.

We could have done it if we knew that we would get 80 degree weather every day.  Could have left a lot of cooler climate clothes and jackets at home. Sorry you missed the cruise, it was fantastic

That's great you had fantastic weather and an excellent cruise.   A Baltic cruise is definitely on the top of our must do!

5 and a half hours into an 8 hour flight.

Safe travels wished for you. Do you think the reason why they did not ask to see your vaccination card is that it was already uploaded and in their system when you did check-in?

Yes, that certainly explains the vaccination cards but not the negative test.
