sudden massive increase on UDP prices

I have been tracking prices for a while - keep going back and forth on whether I should get it or not. It's usually around £220-230 for 7nights (Symphony Europe 2023), it suddenly shoot up to £297 today...

Could be a combination of price rise and reset of exchange rates - ask others in your Roll Call what the pricing in the US market is/has been.

I just checked the price for my cruise in January and it went up $55 USD

Woah. Just looked. The one for our April cruise is about $55 more than what we paid for.

Ouch.  Mine too.  I was delaying booking until Black Friday but looks like we may miss out.  There is a limit to what we will pay.  I’m not totally surprised but am disappointed.

How far out are things like the UDP normally added to the cruise planner? One of my cruises is booked for a little further out than normal, and it currently just says coming soon. I am hoping they hit the planner in time for Black Friday.

There's no set time for that (or any other planner items) to show up - keep checking the planner.

My thought too. For our 8/23 Oasis the 9 day UDP is now $336. Two weekends ago it was $262. 

 

3 night is now $113. 

 

Doesn't appear that the individual restaurant prices went up ——- yet.

October 2023 Harmony 7 day went from $208 up to $261.  3 meal from $102 to $113. Chops + 1 went from $84 to $85.  Individual Hibachi went up $5 but others remained the same.

UDP on May 12 night Odyssey went from $255 pp to $316 pp.

Sam on Navigator for Nov. 11th, went from $200 to $243.99

Has anyone ever bought two 3 night dinner packages?  It is substantially cheaper than the UDP.

Is this possible?

You can probably also blame Liz Truss for your tanking currency contributing to the increase as well.  I am Canadian and was shocked going to Europe two weeks ago at how much the Euro and Pound Sterling have fallen compared to the Canada/US dollars.

Yup, just checked and all my bookings UDP prices went up as well. I was waiting for Black Friday to book since I wasn't set on buying this at the regular sale prices so probably will end up foregoing all together now.

You wouldn't get the free lunches, 45% off wine, the discount on the Captain's table and you might be limited to 1 restaurant per night.
