All on the Royal

Jan 6, 2023; 10 day Mexican CA coastal $249 pp

Jan 31, 2023; 10 day Mexican CA coastal $249 pp

Feb 25, 2023;  5 day CA coastal $99 pp

April 11, 2023; 5 day southern CA coastal $99 pp

April 16, 2023; 7 day southern CA coastal $149 pp

April 30, 2023; 7 day northern CA coastal $149 pp

For these fares, you must have cruised with Princess before AND you have to book them WITHOUT princess plus or premium.  You can add princess plus or premium after booking.

If you book before Oct 31, you'll get an additional $200 per room 'excursion' credit.  Excursion promotion might have been extended.  From what my online TA told me, the 'excursion' credit is regular onboard credit.  I guess I'll find out.

I'm doing a B2B of April 11 and April 16.  Added princess plus after booking and we're good to go.

Already had the Jan 31 already booked with a casino fare, so it didn't get any cheaper.

I booked a couple of the ones you have listed!  The fares, along with that $200 OBC, are so inexpensive.  BTW, my CVP mentioned the Love Boat sale is extended through November 2nd.  And she also mentioned to me that the excursion credit is like regular onboard credit.  Yay!

Interesting, I logged into the Princess website but I'm not getting those prices. I wonder why?

A couple people have mentioned on FB they don't have the low fares either.  Use Hubs account maybe?

I logged into hubs and a couple of friends accounts and they had the low fares. BUT I logged into another friends account and she didn't.

My guess is that is for CA residents only as I often see special pricing for FL residents as it is for cruises from FLL. Just checked on Princess site from here and they show nothing for CA coastal and I didn't even log in but know they know where I am...

I'm a California resident, and I'm not seeing those prices in either my own account or hubby's. Maybe these prices are incentives for people who haven't cruised lately?

I’ve cruised 5 times since January. Who knows why some get the offer and some don’t.

If you qualify, the casino rates are a great savings.  We booked the 4/30/23 NW Pacific coastal RT from SF on Ruby for $309 a person for a Caribe balcony.  Current regularly listed price would be $744 for the same cabin, so almost 60% off. Plus $200 in OBC included. Add to that we used 2 FCD's plus we get CCL shareholder credit and some TA OBC.  All told $450 total in OBC for this particular cruise.  Not bad at all.

For the same ship and same itinerary, you only pay $135 per person in 2022.

In the 2023, you have to pay $257 per person, which is $122 more than current year. This is unreasonable.

You can't get away with the taxes and port fees no matter what deal you received.

Not a deal breaker, but the much higher taxes and port fees really defeat the purpose of the $100 excursion credit.

When I compare these prices to last year, all of my upcoming cruises are a lot lot lower. Thinking of finding yet another for next summer but I want it out of my home port. Airfares are ridiculous

FWIW solo cruiser only booking balconies.

I booked that same itinerary for this year and paid the higher taxes.  I am assured they will be adjusted board to the lower price.  I have the screen shots both showing what I paid and what is supposed to be charged.  I understand the taxes were lowered after I made my payment.  I will expect to have to go to guest services in case my refundable obc is not adjusted automatically.

WOW!  That's a CONSIDERABLE difference.  I wonder what's going on?

It either had something to do with CoVid provisions or just a plain and simple website mistake.
