Libraries Re-opening

I'm wondering about the libraries on the ships. I know they were closed because of Covid. What is the general feeling about them going forward? Will they re-open or not?

Voyager's library is open this week. Books on shelves and checkers and chess tables.

Generally, they have been open for a while on most ships -the main variable is amount of stuff on the shelves.

Open on grandeur last may and liberty in sept.

We were on the Odyssey last December and March and on the Harmony in May. The libraries were not open then.

We will be on the Oasis in a few weeks, so I was just curious.

The Library on Adventure was open when we were on it this month.  Not many books, but there were some.  There were several days that I saw a good amount of people sitting in the Library,  also!

DW and I were on the Oasis in July.  The library was open and had a good number of books.

The "Card Room" was open on the Harmony in September.

Odyssey in May had nothing. Anthem last month was open and the shelves were full.

Enchantment's library was open and fairly well stocked in September.

Allure open last couple of weeks, although very few books.  Fair number of games.

Radiance had a TON of books in May, I even borrowed one and used our last sea day to finish it! They even had a separate section for take one, leave one....

Open on several ships that we've recently sailed.  It may be a book shelf in an area (pool table area on Serenade)  or located in a multipurpose room (card room/internet cafe/ small meeting room on Harmony).  If you can't find it, ask at guest services.

Did they have a good stock of scrolls and tablets?  If I'm going old school, I'm going all the way.  😉

We were on in early October, and though there were almost no books on the shelves, it was a hopping place! Quiet, but hopping, with almost every chair filled.
