residency or senior discounts

Is there any info out there whether royal will start offering residency (eg FL or NY) or senior citizen discounts again?

I just posted a deal alert a week ago on a rate that showed TX discount out of Galveston.  I dont check NY so wouldnt see it.

They never stopped.  It is not on all sailings that they are offered.  Royal uses those discounts when they have unsold cabins they want to reduce in price but want to limit how many can call in and get price drops.

Canada in 30 minutes then another 4-5 hours.  Co pilot at the wheel now.

Yup  I think I was home after picking up Tica around 8:30  Off at 6:45  driver got me at 7  waited in the outside ladies room for him since it was 35 or so degrees.  They wouldn't let me back into the terminal to wait😢

They were definitely offered on our upcoming Anthem cruise out of NJ, although they're gone now when I price check.

We took advantage of the senior. The resident discount that we checked was CA (DS lives there) but it wouldn't let us have both.

When you select a cruise to price it, click on "Apply a promo code and exclusive rates discounts"...

So if u check the state box and senior box and it doesn’t show up here in the next section that means it’s not applicable  etc?

As others said - when you go into select your cruise -- Once you select a sailing

Also remember once booked when doing a check for a price reduction you insert these options as well. We've gotten these rates on occasion before final payment was due.
