My thoughts (and photos) on our cruise on Celebrity Apex

Hi everyone,

 

Don't know where the time has gone but my husband and I went on our first Celebrity cruise in November and I have written some of my thoughts on the ship, itinerary and the food on my blog (just personal not professional!). 

 

I read so many posts on here when we booked our holiday to try and make the most of everything when we were onboard (which I think we did).

We recently sailed on the Edge-did a b/2/b Dec and Jan.  Looking foward to our other next sailing on the Apex in March.  Really like the ship- especially the Retreat.

Great review and wonderful photos! We sailed on the Beyond, Apex's sister ship, and loved every minute. We had large swells for almost the entire voyage so found that the window creaked a lot. That was the only downside of the Infinite Veranda, imho.

Was your flight LHR to Miami, or from a local airport eg Manchester?

Yes LHR, we wanted a direct flight rather than having to have a connection. We flew with Virgin and stayed in the Renaissance London Heathrow the night before our flight which was a lovey hotel and we booked a hotel and parking package so just left the car in the hotel car park.
