That's a lot of people on a TA!  I want to do a TA someday, but always have the idea of them being 25-50% empty but sounds like you guys are well into your 3rd/4th berths!

The 7604 is total,  2K+ of that is crew so "only" about 5600 passengers making it about 100% capacity (no need for anything above double occupancy) - certainly high for a TA. There were some very low prices for that sailing.

Yeah a bit crowded for a TA! I always enjoy reading about TA's from CC regulars who talk about the crossings being like ghost towns.

5,380 Passengers and 2,224 Crew.  1,750 of the passengers were Diamond level and above.  About 500 children which was unusually high for a transatlantic.  Overall a wonderful sailing with generally great weather despite a lot of motion from the ocean which was unsettling to folks on their first sailing.

I am not sure that this is an achievement…

Just a point of interest...

During July of 1943, the Queen Mary carried 15,740 soldiers and 943 crew for a total of 16,683 souls on board as part of the World War II troop build-up prior to D-Day.  Some of the soldiers were required to sleep on deck during the Trans-Atlantic crossing.  This is generally recognized as the most persons transported on a single vessel.

Bummer about the number of kids. We have done a half dozen TA'S with the number of kids usually around a dozen. All but one TA were Westbound in Oct.  All on Oasis class.

Glad you had a good time. We nearly booked, at one time the pricing was amazingly low.

We're on her in the Med in a few weeks.  How has been the food and entertainment?

Sounds like the captain of the Symphony needs to get their facts straight.
