What's the 1 thing you have to eat in the Carnivals main dining room at least once while on your cruise if offered?

West Indian Pumpkin Soup (I always ask for a BIG bowl). And of course the Chocolate Melting Cake (but typically just once each sailing). Except for the salmon (not a salmon fan), I will get all the "fish" entrees.

Escargot, Bitter and Blanc, Alligator Beignets, Mushroom Soup, West Indian Pumpkin Soup, Crab Cakes, Lobster tail, Prime Rib, Vegetable Spring Rolls, although the ones at ChiBang are better.

Bitter and Blanc, chilled soups, and Spaghetti carbonara. I eat lobster and/or steak in restaurants almost every week, so I can pass on those, but give me ALL THE CARBS when I'm on a cruise!

However, on our last Mardi Gras cruise we didn't eat in the MDR at all.

Used to be the brunch steak and eggs but unfortunately they have destroyed it.

Sadly, I have to agree with you. :classic_sad:

The tenderloin has always been amazing though! DH swears by the Indian food!

The Indian Vegetarian (and I'm not a vegetarian, I just love it that much).

I never ate it until our last cruise in December since so many people raved about it.  Now both my husband and I will get it at least once a cruise.  So good!

~   Mmmm … scallop appetizer.

~  Only once during the cruise, I like to order the chocolate melting cake.

~   My husband gets 3 scoops of ice cream each evening.
I like to share a taste of each flavor.

Of course, still order my own dessert 😋.
