I always assume the bank teller thinks I'm going to a strip club (no judgment of course). I get them at guest services or the casino....less small bills I have to cram into my wallet . I just leave them in the bank envelope and take it in our carry-on bag in a little zippered bag/pouch thing that I'm not even sure where it came from. Whatever works.

neverbeenhere Posted August 2, 2023 #30 Share Posted August 2, 2023 As I always use Cleveland's, I don't distribute as many bills as some. I used to use Salmon P. Chase's but I was never sure how to say his first name, so I gave up on those bills. Wife make me get $ 5's. She says the strippers won't work for $ 1 anymore.

slyster Posted August 2, 2023 Author #35 Share Posted August 2, 2023 I never went to the bank. I tried to save $1s and $5s as we got closer to a cruise. Never thought about it! I’ll be hitting the bank in a few weeks. That’s so much easier!

We just accumulate what we need in the month prior to the cruise by using large bills anywhere we actually use cash. We ask for ones and fives as change and just put them aside. Rare LisaLisa87 Posted August 2, 2023 #38 Share Posted August 2, 2023 Regarding tipping the bartenders in the suite lounge, do most people tip them by the drink, by the day, or once at the end of the cruise? I'm leaning toward daily when we visit during happy hour, although last time we were in a suite I think we tipped once at the beginning of the cruise and again at the end. neverbeenhere Posted August 2, 2023 #39 Share Posted August 2, 2023 We tip per order as we have seen the bartender/staff change throughout a cruise.

Although we also recently gave an extra tip at the end of the cruise to our favorite SL bartender because he made us multiple drinks everyday (some were voucher drinks during the day, others during happy hour) and went above and beyond in multiple ways. He was also one heck of a nice guy and made excellent drinks.

We do have a refreshment package too. Do they give you a receipt for your drink so you can tip? Or is cash expected? only on OASIS class.
