Ocean View Cafe is the only free full service option.

I’m not sure what you mean by “full service.”  The Oceanview Cafe is a self serve buffet.  Granted some items are dispensed by servers…like the pasta station, ice cream station, paninis…etc.

Can Aqua guests  used the MDR for lunch embarkation ?

No, only concierge class, all other classes except suites have to have lunch in OVC. mast grill or one of the open pay venues. This is one of the few benefits for Concierge class passengers.

No.  Lunch in MDR is only Concierge class, B2B cruisers and Zenith.  Look on the bright side, Aqua doesn’t have embarkation day lunch but you get dinner & breakfast in Blu every day.

Drop your carry-ons in your cabin when you board and there will be a notice in your cabin where the lunch is held. The butternut squash soup is delicious, and the short ribs are tasty. They do have a caesar salad, but I have not tried it.

B2B cruisers were not included in the MDR lunch on the Apex August 9th 2023 cruise. We were told they got rid of that a while ago. 🤷‍♀️

When's awhile ago? First I've heard of this. We were on the Apex March 2023 and spoke with a couple about our experiences with B2B cruises on the last night of our cruise and they told use they would also be getting the TAD lunch in the MDR. Printed invitation. Like always.

No idea. Just what we were told at our B2B meeting by the officer in charge before our August 9th cruise on the Apex. He said “a while ago”.  We were in a Sunset Veranda if that makes a difference.

Maybe others on different ships have had different experiences?

Just curious for E class which of the MDRs is the lunch held?

It was Cosmo on EDGE.. they had a nice menu and good service despite being crowded. We had a nice corner spot..not one of the long  tables where it's like a group lunch!

You're stateroom category has absolutely nothing to do with the B2B TAD lunch in the MDR.

Free embarkation day lunch options on Equinox (in a non Concierge Class cabin) are the Oceanview Cafe (Buffet) or the Mast Grill (hamburgers and hot dogs etc.)  If you don’t mind a charge Sushi on 5 is often open.  If you haven’t sailed Celebrity ever or lately you now go directly to your cabin on embarkation day to collect your Sea Pass card and can drop off your carryon bags.  This has the advantage of reducing the congestion at the Buffet since everyone and their brother and all their hand luggage are no longer parked there waiting for the announcement that the cabins are open.

How do you get into your cabin if you don’t have your sea pass card?

TAD is the turnaround day on B2B (or longer) cruises.

If B2B guests and embarking Zeniths are not included in the Concierge Class embarkation day luncheon this is a major change indeed from past practices.

heard the paid  Pass Holders are now included in the lunch..

Do they have enough staff to handle the lunch or is service sometimes slow?

When you first board the ship you are allowed to go to your stateroom to drop off any carryon(s). Your Seapass cards are in an envelope at your door. Take your Seapass cards with you when you leave. You are asked not linger in your stateroom until the general announcement is made that the staterooms are ready. Around 1:PM.
