motheroftwocats814 Posted September 17, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2023 Hello all- We are on the wonder next month on October 15 sailing. We purchased Coco Beach club passes. It includes lunch, it seems as though you can make the lunch reservation when you arrive to the Beach club. Is it hard to get a reservation? I am worried about it because the ship seems to be close to capacity.
newmercies Posted September 17, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2023 You can make lunch reservations prior to your Coco Cay day. Contact the dining room reservation line once onboard, or use the concierge if you are in a suite, to make the reservations early. The one time we waited to make reservations we ended up with a late late lunch. 1

You can do it at Main dining room within minutes or through the Concierges for status of Diamond and above.

RFerrington Posted September 17, 2023 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2023 We made lunch reservations right at the kiosk at the Club and had no problem whatsoever getting a noon-ish reservation.

That's been our experience many times. Lots of tables, never completely full.
mtu_huskies Posted September 18, 2023 #7 Share Posted September 18, 2023 Never done beach club for lunch, but, how many ships are in port might impact availability. Pretty sure Wonder is the only ship at Coco Cay that day week of 10/15.
Rare cruiselvr04 Posted September 18, 2023 #8 Share Posted September 18, 2023 As long as you get off the ship right away and head to the beach club you’ll have no issues getting a noonish time. If you sleep in and arrive late morning you may. If we purchase the beach club we get up and get off to enjoy the day.
CrystalBlue Posted September 19, 2023 #9 Share Posted September 19, 2023 We also made lunch reservation right at the check in counter. Never had an issue, both times had a choice of times. The earlier you check in the better time options you will have.
Rare BirdTravels Posted September 19, 2023 #10 Share Posted September 19, 2023 But, you need a reservation. People who don't make a reservation and decide to walk up at 12:30 are often told to come back at closing.
cruisegirl1 Posted September 19, 2023 #11 Share Posted September 19, 2023 (edited) The first time we went there, we didn’t know we needed a lunch reservation. We got there about 10:00 and the earliest reservation for lunch we could get was 1:30. Worked out fine as we were flexible. m Edited September 19, 2023 by cruisegirl1

Marie51 Posted September 23, 2023 #14 Share Posted September 23, 2023 Just off a cruise last week. One the first day of the cruise I got a phone call in the cabin from a guy wanting to make us reservations for the beach club lunch. So that was easy!

Same experience in August. We didn’t know we needed a reservation. When we checked in, they asked if we had made lunch reservations and made them for us. The restaurant wasn’t crowded and our lunch was amazing.
gdwest Posted September 24, 2023 #16 Share Posted September 24, 2023 Just arrived home last night from the Mariner. We also received a phone call in our room (interior-not a suite) asking what time we would like. We chose 11:15..perfect time...and the food was delicious! Cruise in early December it is $188.99. For my late January cruise January 2024 it is $235.99 per person. It includes a nice lunch, private pool, loungers. Drinks are extra. We paid $88 when we went in 2022 and that's more than I thought it was worth.
slotmomma3 Posted September 26, 2023 #20 Share Posted September 26, 2023 When you board ship go to one of the specialty restaurants and you can make the reservation there.

We aren't getting off the ship at the other ports, so we decided we would spend it on CoCo Cay.
