Bold Text Function not working

For the last few days, I can't make any text bold. I just highlighted the word bold in the previous sentence, and it's not.

Has there been some change to the fonts or text settings on the boards?

Appears not to be. I was able to use italics and underline but nothing with bold.  EM

In fact "bold" in your post appears bold. It's just not that heavy a stroke.

Look carefully, "bold" is in fact bold. At least on my Android table, in Chrome.

 

1. This is bold this is not.

2. This is bold this is not.

 

Using the default font.

 

#1 was achieved by typing "This is ", tapping B on the toolbar, typing "bold", tapping B on the toolbar, typing " is not.'.

 

#2 was achieved by typing the entire sentence then highlighting"bold" an tapping B on the toolbar.

I’m on an iPad and nothing is bolted in your examples.  EM

 

Trying it on my Surface Pro.  All of this it typed supposedly in BOLD .  Nothing

Now on my desktop in Chrome.  No bold here either.

It looks bold to me. Obviously platform differences.

Has the Invision Community software been "tweaked" lately? Is this something you can help with? Or does it need to go to the IT team?

We are aware of this issue and it has been reported last week.  We have not been given an estimate of when it may be working normally again.
