What is with the annoying pop up?

Why am I suddenly getting these pop ups?

Very, very annoying.

Don't think I will sign in to boards until this is removed.

Signed out and back in, cleared my browser history, cookies, etc... and I'm still getting this annoying popup every time I click into and out of a thread!  Anyone else seeing this:?

Yes on chrome, tried logging out and in, refresh, restart browser, all the good stuff. I think it finally stopped, crossing fingers.

Yes. I just Emailed the CC help desk asking why?

Had to refresh a few times for it to disappear, so I can comment on this thread!

me too and would not let me sign up or do anything, just froze the page, as others mentioned I had to close the browser and get back on the page.

I got the same thing when I signed in a few minutes ago, and there was no way to click out of it to go anywhere else.

Yes. Not sure how to get rid of it in Firefox. Switched to Brave (it's a browser with a bunch of security features built in for those unfamiliar) and it blocks it but that's not a good permanent solution.

 

EDIT: I logged out and in and it seems to be gone. 🤷‍♀️

Same issue for me. The only way I could even post a reply is by inspecting the page and deleting the modal container.

 

For the moderators: It looks like there's a couple of console warnings about the iframes running outside of the sandbox environment.

I'm using Google Chrome. The popup has now gone away.

I never got it...luckily!  I am Google Chrome, have adblocker, and delete cookies quite frequently. 

 

Guess I got lucky...I do seem to get everything else weird at times though.  🧐

A screen grab might be helpful. Is it certain that the popup is from CC?

It appears to have cleared up. Both app and web are working correctly, and no iframe errors in the console.

Seems to be gone now, hopefully it stays that way.  I'm using Chrome BTW.
