Thank you for doing this, I’ll be following along.  Boarding Ascent on Feb 25th for a B2B in a SS.  Curious to hear your thoughts on the reported changes.

Thanks to everyone for following along!

 

We successfully made it to the house in Orlando with little fanfare. Flight was on time and smooth. We are fortunate to have all of our clothes down here so we never have to check a bag. We were off the plane, through the airport and in our car and on our way in probably 20 minutes or so. 
 

With a quick grocery stop we are ready to settle in for a couple days before heading to PE on Sunday. I think we may head to Epcot on Friday to check out the Festival of the Arts and check out the new nighttime

fireworks show.

Sounds like a great plan.. hope it warms up a bit so you can enjoy EPCOT.

 

We are at our place in Venice, Fl for the season. We have lots of clothes here,  but invariably  we take stuff back and forth to N.Y. Glad we have sweatsuits  and sweaters.. just one of those colder winters...but 50 is better than 20!

Planning a trip on the Ascent this summer in the Mediterranean, so looking forward to following along!

 

(And as I sit in the snowy, cold Midwest, I’m envious of snowbirds and Florida houses and starting to think about when we can do at least a trial of that!)

Our sailing on Ascent February 11th is 7 days before sailing beyond B2B for 21 days following so this info will be very helpful as to Chic night and activities.

Likewise!  I am really hoping one of our two wine tastings doesn't interfere with the sea day meetup.  I usually book the wine tastings onboard but they were 40% off to prebook.  I know on the FB group there is a slot pull at the same time but we're not attending that.   I wish the two groups could coordinate, I know some of us on the CC roll call are also on the FB one.

Find an Airbnb and rent it for a month..or a condo on the coast..they offer monthly rentals...that would give you a good taste of what it's like.

I'm sure you will do a live so I may just comment on yours. i'll probably do one on the Ascent prior to this one and then the second Beyond after the the 19th one.

Just got off this Itinerary (7 Jan - 15 Jan). Wonderful, wonderful cruise.

• Great, experienced crew. Brought onboard from other vessels in the fleet. Fully staffed.
• Go see Awaken! for sure, and the other shows (Bridges and Residency) are well worth the time.
• Beautiful, calming ship. Runs spectacularly well at full capacity.
• The Indian food isn't so good - very bland, no smell whatsoever. Try the Greek instead.
• Bakery and Pastries were a standout.

We didn't bother to get off in Nassau, because been there done that too many times. We walked around Cozumel and Grand Cayman on our own looking for birds - DW is a birder.

We’ll see you onboard - we also took advantage of the great deal that happened many months ago and will be in a Sky Suite on Deck 10. Our only port plan is to go to lunch in Cozumel. See you on Sunday!
